Day two went fantastic

I submitted two papers to my global and orchestra teachers that said 'I'm trans if you have problems/questions come talk to me'

And then with my super supportive friend she changed it to Kayden on the rehearsal reports

And of course the director gets these and goes over it with a fine comb I suppose, looking to make sure everyone is there and such

So during rehearsal today it was great

So since the dialect person would be late for some reason, she came up with this idea as like a get to know people

It was like speed dating

There were fourteen stations with fourteen different ideal date sceneries

And op exactly fourteen groups which we did not plan so oh yea

one station was apple picking, star gazing, Christmas etc

There was gym mat too so that was neat

So yea we had to get everything from previous shows

Cause we got a prop loft to hide all of that

Except the mat that didn't come from the prop loft

Neither did the table but the tree did which I found weird

Speaking of the table that was the last thing to go

And then I went back to double check like a reasonable person when director stepped out

I didn't think anything of it but then she pulled me to the side and I knew what was coming

She talked about how she saw 'Kayden McLeod' on the rehearsal report, and how at first she thought it was a typo until it was there a second time

So yea she's cool with it, I didn't directly say I'm trans but I told her that I go by Kayden and he/him/his pronouns and she was cool with it and immediately began calling me Kayden after establishing that the entire cast did not know

And neither do my parents

But it felt great for some adult to finally know

Because as far as I know, in my head all of you are under twenty because that's just how my mind works

But it was after rehearsal when we were putting a train away(from Hello, Dolly!) in the glass hallway where the rest of it was when she asked if my parents knew and I said no and she was totally fine with it and she just wanted to know in case she was talking with one of them

Which rarely happens because my parents volunteer for stuff like taking costumes to the school, and distributing posters, maybe chaperoning during the show, in which case Director is everywhere and nowhere

So yerhaw

Also the two teachers I also just kind of wrote a side note to, I've had them before, we get along great

So yea that's fun

Also I think that everyone around me is slowly coming to realize by themselves that I'm trans so that's real interesting

Because over the weekend my mom 'theorized' why I don't like dressed and she basically said I hate my body and I was like yup and then the convo ended

See that's how my mom dances around the questions, but my dad just goes straight for it

He woulda flat out asked me if I was trans just like how he asked if I was a lesbian

Don't know which I prefer

The kind of knows type of thing, or the straight to the point unexpected way

Equally scary but you know, get what you get don't get upset

Pfffffffffft

Third day was alright

We had a hold in place because apparently some dumbass pushed their administrator or something

Bet it was a freshman

*squints* *whispers* they're fucking stupid

Anyways so apparently teachers really do read about you on their little info sheets because lmao my AP US History (APUSH) teachers knows about me being dude

And he's cool with it so it's all good

Also he's telling my guidance counselor which I approved of

So yay I don't have to tell him woo hoo

Also I should probably come out to my parents at some because literally everyone but my family knows

I'm going to aim for before Halloween

I feel likes that's a reasonable goal right

Gives me enough time to formulate some sort of plan to come out because I haven't verbally said it to anybody yet

Thank god because I would have never actually said it

What I've also never done is heard somebody's reaction so that's interesting

So I probably don't want to text it or give them a letter And watch them read it

So yea

Also my almost entire orchestra is fucking stupid

Like the actual orchestral players

Except two

And me

So

Since everyone is so fucking stupid and don't actually count out loud like they're supposed to

I'm the only one?

Also I'm like the trustworthy student

I'm like John 2.0

So increasingly annoying, loud, very helpful, loves ABBA

Yea

It's gonna be a great year
