Chapter Seven

Kamaria

I wake up to the sound of my loud ass alarm.

"Oh my God," I groan and rub my eyes. I get up and realize I'm in the living Room.

I figure maybe I was doing homework late and fell asleep here.

I get up and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face.

My head felt a little bit off, but I didn't want to think much about it. Maybe it was just a migraine.

I get out of the bathroom and head to the kitchen to make myself breakfast.

In the middle of making my protein shake, I remember being with Mr. Graham last night.

Flashback

"Here," I hand Mr. Graham money to pay for the food.

"No Kamaria please," he gives it back.

"Mr. Graham—," he stops me.

"Aubrey," he corrects me. "I've got it."

"You can take it out my paycheck," I smile.

"No need," he whispers. We walk back to his car and get in.

Flashback Ends

"Fuck," I mumble to myself.

What even happened after that.

My mind starts wondering and the worst of the worst comes to my head. There's no way tho...right?

I pick up my phone and call my mom.

"Hello?"

"Mom I—."

"Oh you're awake. Was it good?" She smirks on the end of the phone.

"Was what good?"

"Your boss."

"Mom please tell me this is a jok—," I feel my heart pounding out of my chest until I look down and see a note.

Hi Ms. Valoy,
this is Mr. Graham and you're quite the heavy sleeper might I say. You're mother said to drop you off at your house because I wasn't sure what to do with you. I'll see you tomorrow.

"Ha Ha very funny mom," I roll my eyes.

"I'm not joking Kamaria, I—," I stop her before she continues.

"Mom, I already know. You can't joke about me sleeping with my own boss."

My mom sighs. "A woman can only hope, huh."

This woman is insane.

"Mom please," I pinch my nose. "I have a headache."

"Lightweight," she laughs.

"Anyways...I need to get ready. For work. Which my boss will be there," I mentally groan.

I can't be doing this.

"Alright well...have fun," she hangs up.
