Intersex people are born with some biological characteristics that are considered "female" and others that are considered "male."

Intersex genitalia can not be defined by one image or a sketch. All intersex people's genitalia look different and come with different "functional" parts. Not all intersex people have both female and male reproductive parts. Most have some variation of it. If they do have both parts then one of them is often dysfunctional.
Note that every intersexual person as well as hermaphrodite are different from each other. Chromosomes and the appearance of their genitalia can vary a lot from person to person.

This is called true hermaphroditism, a real phenomenon with many recorded cases. There are also recorded cases of pregnancy in true hermaphrodites as well as births.
