Chapter 29: The Incident (A Yoonhyo Special Chapter)

We were having fun with our other co idols after the encore stage and the final picture taking when I started to wonder around my members who were busy playing around. I saw Nayeon unnie talking with Blackpink members knowing Nayeon unnie was close with them I just let her talk to them with disturbing her. Jungyeon unnie was with the GOT7 members and Suga sunbae and the youngest of the BTS, Jungkook talking with serious faces on, I was supposed to ask them what is happening but I saw Momo unnie and Sana unnie was with Mina, Chaeyoung and Dahyun talking with I*zone members remembering that Lee Chaeyeon, a former trainee of JYP was a member of that group I hurriedly went to them to chat with them.

I was close with Chaeyeon and Chaeryeon when they became trainees at JYP. They were extremely talented but I was felt sad when Chaeyeon had to leave JYP Entertainment for other entertainent company gladly it was still under JYP Entertainment's subsidary so I was not worried but I missed her so much for not seeing her for almost three years already. I am so happy that she finally made her debut as an idol, it makes me so proud.

"Oh, Jihyo unnie is here! Mina acknowledge my presence the newly debuted girl group members gave me a bow. "Hi guys!" I greeted them "Hello sunbae..." they replied timidly after giving me a bow. I went immediately to Chaeyeon's side and give her a tight hug "I missed you so much!" I said while hugging the cute yondongsae I used to pamper when we were still trainees "I missed you too unnie." She said while laughing at my reaction but then returning the hug. After a few moments we released each other when Dahyun made a fake laugh that made everyone laugh.

"So unnie, Hyewon here is aking for Tzuyu's personal number. But I'm saying is that we should inform you and Tzuyu first before give it." Chaeyoung said while pointing to the one she was calling Hyewon.

"You can give it to her, it doesn't matter. But don't give it others okay Hyewon - ssi?" then she gave me a nod. "Anyway, Momo unnie where is that kid? I didn't see her after the picture taking. Strange she is supposed to be here..." I said while trying to look around looking for our savage maknae. "She went that way to greet our fans..." Momo unnie said while pointing the direction.

"Need to go first girls. I had to find one missing member." I bid my goodbyes to them as I waved my hand and walk to the direction where Momo unnie had pointed. I encountered a lot of our co idols and I scanned the place but there was no sign of our tall maknae anywhere. I was supposed to head backstage when I saw a backdrop with a not so good state and looks that any minute would fall off.

I retreated and walk the other direction, I also told the staffs around to fix or remove it right away because it might hurt someone. While looking for our youngest I was also telling the other idols not to go through that part of the stage unless the staff had removed the backdrop. Passing the message to one another while going around. I was making my way towards Jungyeon unnie when I saw Suga sunbae walking towards the backstage upon remembering that the backdrop's state and seeing that it was not yet removed, I hurriedly run back and called him.

"Sunbae!" I souted but he seems not to hear anything. I ran fast to catch up with him just as I was about to pull him to stop the backdrop's support broke and began to fall. Earning a loud shriek of horror from the fans who was still around. Suga sunbae's eyes widen upon seeing the falling backdrop and immediately pulled me away from the falling debris.

A loud thud was heard after the backdrop fell, me and Suga sunbae also fell when we lost our balance when he pulled me away. He was under me with our faces almost close to each other, his hands were wrapped around me like protecting me. Good thing we fell a few inches away from where the backdrop had fell.

I stared at his eyes which I see to be like a black hole, void and mysterious but there is also warmth enveloped around it. We just stare at each other without minding the environment like we were lost in a world of our own.

One by one the idols went to our direction asking if we were okay, and Jihyo realizing how awkward our position might be immediately stood up. I feel a little sting in my back because of the sudden fall but I didn't mind it and stood up as well.

The production staff came in with Twice members, Jungkook and GOT7 to check us out. "We were really sorry for what happened... We will take full responsibility with it, Jihyo – ssi, Suga – ssi..." they apologetically said to us.

"Are you okay unnie?" Mina asked Jihyo on her side "Ask sunbae, I fell over him after losing both our balances..." she said which they immediately turned their gazes to me "I'm fine my back just hurts a little but no worries..." I said, Jungkook gave me a 'are you sure hyung?' look so I just gave him a nod.

"But isn't it you Jihyo who first knew that the backdrop was not on the proper state? Then what were you doing out here? I heard from the other idols that it was you who spread the word on not to go in this direction." JB said.

"Uh I went after Suga sunbae..." she said before lowering her gaze down "He was going this direction so I called him but he didn't hear me so I run to catch up with him but it was already late, the backdrop's support already broke." She explained that made me feel a little guilty.

"Jihyo – ssi for what you did, thank you so much for doing anything at your cost to get me away from harm but please don't do it again next time that will end up hurting yourself..." I said seriously with concern evident in my voice.

"It is okay sunbae at least I was able to help you not to get worse injury. And sorry for falling over you you might had hurt your back because of the impact... It was quite a hard fall then I tripped over you..." she said while looking apologetic towards me. "It was just a minor fall don't worry I am okay... Well maybe it hurts a little but don't worry the pain will subside later." I said to ease her guilt of falling over me.

"Okay fellas let's just call it a day, shall we? Twice I heard from your manager that Tzuyu is already in the waiting room sleeping, she went there ahead of you thinking that you were already there. She must have been tired from waiting for you all. Suga and Jungkook your members are now probably waiting for the both of you. Namjoon had called me unfortunately I was not able to answer it because of the commotion. This was such a tiring night so let us go head to our dorms to sleep and have some rest." Jackson said, "I had to agree with that, let's head out towards our dorms to rest I'm kind of so tired with what happened." Jungyeon – ssi said that was agreed by all of us one by one we head towards the other way to the backstage.

I looked back again towards Jihyo's direction when we were in front of our waiting rooms thinking on how I would repay her kindness towards me. Jungkook patted my back before entering the room first as I watch her enter their waiting room away from my sight. I saw it earlier in her eyes she was concern for me when we fell down, I am already thinking a way to thank her since I know that my words earlier are not enough. The pride of a man says that I should give her something or treat her to a snack, coffee or something.
