Chapter 15: Slowly Falling Into You

We continued our practice at our studio after having the breakfast at Pdnim's office. We took a few routines then decided to take a fifteen minute break before continuing to play with routines.

In this way we could create some unique choreography for random mixed song. But sometimes we would prefer to do dance  covers when we are just practicing.

I went to one side of our practice studio and grabbed my back only to find out some notifications bugging my phone that I had left on my bag earlier when we went to Pdnim's office.

Only to find out that it was all from the same contact ' bunny cookie' yeah I just recently changed the name from emojis to words.

'Hey!'

'Are you busy, noona?'

'Why aren't you replying?'

'Are you at JYPENT noona?'

'Are you practicing? I haven't seen you around Mcountdown nor any member of Twice'

'You didn't get a scolding didn't you?'

he flooded me with his messages which I find so cute of him. Actually we are somewhat close to each other after exchanging number. But only in messages we can't be really close in personal if we wanted to live a peaceful life.

I quickly typed a response to him.

'Ah yea, we're at our dance studio at the entertainment building. We had a breakfast meeting with Pdnim. And we did got a little scolding but more like of a father's advice. He told us to skip Mcountdown for today since he wanted to talk to us. We could just practice at our studio and take a rest later.'

Then I hit the sent button. I waited for a few minutes for his reply but he seem so busy right now. I simply wrote a 'I know you'll do great but still good luck 😇...'

Then I placed my phone inside my bag again as I watched the other members playing around.

Tzuyu and Mina are like playing a staring and no talking challenge. While Momo unnie is still dancing to random music playing on the background. Nayeon unnie, Jungyeon unnie and Jihyo are scribbling something on papers which I didn't even know where it came from. While Chae and Dahyun was playing the piano inside the studio. I tell you Dahyun is amazing at it.

I decided to close my eyes and clearly think of the thoughts that are flowing in my head but then suddenly Kookie sunbaenim popped in to my head.

And I fidgeted on the sight and suddenly sat straight and opened my eyes. Okay what was that? I asked myself as I held onto my chest who is beating rapidly.

"You okay unnie?" Jihyo asked that made everyone stopped from what they are doing

"Ah yes, don't mind me..." I told her then returned to my position earlier.

Lately I've been drawn to sunbaenim, I mean who wouldn't be. He has all the qualities of an oppa. Handsome, talented, kind amd humble, a perfect gentleman.

I've been looking up the internet secretly to search for his photos, videos, his profile like I wanted to know him more. Even secretly downloaded a few photos of him and keep staring at it every night when I'm about to sleep. My heart beats rapidly whenever I saw him or whenever he is near me. And it feels like my cheeks are always burning up.

I don't know how to figure out my feelings since I had never felt this way before. I can't open up to the other members since I know that they are also foreign with the feeling and I'm afraid  that they might get the wrong idea to it. I've been keeping this thoughts to myself since the day that I've in contact with sunbaenim in messages.

I'm been an alienated by the feelings that I want to answer all the questions in my head but I don't know how. I'm so confused right now.

The silent moment that I had was broken by a shout coming from Momo unnie...

"Ahhh!" then a heard a thud coming from something that fall or someone "Unnie!" and a shout from Jihyo that caused me to open my eyes again.

I saw Momo unnie on the floor while crutching her left ankle, looking hurt. I immediately got up and went to her direction as well as the other members.

I hurriedly went to unnie's side and slowly took off her left shoes and socks to check on her foot. Since I have been always the clumsy member, I learned a little bit of first aid to cure myself if ever I got hurt.

"It's sprain..." I told Jihyo worriedly

"How many days will it take ti heal? How could you fall like that unnie? Your the main dancer of Twice, your motor skills have never failed not until now... I've seen you distracted since we got out of Pdnim's office, you and Dahyun..."

So she noticed too. I thought I was the only one wondering why they seem unusual. Momo unnie and Dahyun's eyes widen in shock.

"You thought I didn't noticed? My eyes are not big for nothing. Dahyun played with Chae and started acting the usual so probably she just didn't have the appetite. But Momo unnie you acted distracted even though you pretended to be busy dancing." she added

"I ahh, I am not feeling well that's why..." Momo unnie explained

"Mina call our manager, she needs to be treated at the hospital for faster recovery." I talked to Mina.

"He's on the way unnie..." she replied

"No, I can still get up and dance." Momo unnie defended

"It will just make that worse, I tell you unnie. You may not be able to dance again if you insist to get up and dance." Tzuyu blankly said to unnie.

I asked Chae to get an ice pack in the fridge and she immediately got one. I placed it on unnie's ankle to reduce the swelling.

I heard the door opening from behind "Girls your schedule for Music Bank tomorrow has been moved this afternoon. Ugh, what are you doing?" he asked us as soon as he noticed us forming circle around Momo unnie.

"She's sprained oppa... She needs medical assistance..." Nayeon unnie said while pointing to Momo unnie.

"But how are we supposed to perform if we lack a member?" Chae asked

"Let Tzuyu take Momo's parts. I'll bring her to the hospital while you practice here. Stay at the hospital for the mean time Momo, I'm sure you'll be discharged anytime tomorrow. Then I'll go back here to assist you to Music Bank." oppa said

"We'll just check on her after..." Jungyeon unnie said

"So we have to cover her up for a while?" Dahyun worriedly said

"For quite some time, but with the meds that the doctors will give her she'll be back in a few days. Momo-ya come I'll take you to the hospital." oppa said as he assisted unnie to get up and walk out of the room.

"Now what would we do? The choreography will go nuts without Momo unnie..." Mina said

"Just prepare your things for later and we'll have the rest of the time to practice so we could cover up unnie." Jihyo said so we immediately obliged after fixing our things we started practicing but we always got mistakes at the first trials. With a missing member and one covering up, Tzuyu got confused on who's part is she gonna do. After a few more tries we got to polish the choreography but not as perfect as it was.

We took our lunch and changed to our clothes, good thing we placed some of our clothes in our lockers. When our manager arrived we immediately went to Music Bank for the recording.
