Time is so short,
but it feels like an eternity
has passed since I last
saw your face.
Veiled in moonlight,
your visage of beauty
was transformed
into that of radiant divinity.
Your smile was shy,
small but truly brilliant;
conveying all but the truth, -
everything you built up inside.
Hiding it, letting it control you,
it soon became more than
you could handle, and,
like a flash of light, you were gone.
The radiant smile that greeted me
was nowhere to be found,
leaving me standing alone
beneath a single tree bearing no fruit.
Wind swept the petals away,
carrying them away to distant lands,
yet the tree still stood there,
a single chrysanthemum rooted underneath.
The promise was broken,
devastated and forlorn, my heart could not mend,
the petals of the flower blew away in the wind,
joining others on their long journeys.
You may have left this place,
but your presence did not leave my heart.
When I close my eyes, I return to this same spot,
the place where I made my promise to you.
You may be gone, but your memory is not.
No matter how much I try,
I can never erase your presence,
permeating all my thoughts,
it is like you never truly left.
Time is so short,
but even that feels like an eternity
without you by my side.
对不起，
请原谅我。
你的存在依然没有消逝，
时间能不让我忘记。
我的爱为你是永。
