Dante: What?
(Y/N): Oh... Um... N-Nothing...
Dante ignores it as he slouches back to his chair with his feet up on his desk.
Dante: Well... Welcome to Devil May Cry, (Y/N)?
(Y/N): Right... Why am I here?
Dante: I could use someone like you, (Y/N). And it seems like you need a fresh start.
(Y/N): W-Wait... Y-You mean...
Dante: From here on out, you'll be working with us.
(Y/N) eyes widen.
(Y/N): Y-You .... M-Mean that?
Dante: Well, unless you got someplace to be--
(Y/N): N-No! I-I mean... I-I... I...
(Y/N) couldn't let another word out as he tries to hide his own tears as Trish and Lady comfort him.
Dante: Oh boy...
Lady: It's okay. It's okay. It must've been so hard to be on your own for a long time.
(Y/N): I... I...
Trish: You got something to say, (Y/N)?
(Y/N): Y-Yeah.. (wipes tears off).... This place smells like shit.

A few months later.
Dante and (Y/N) are outside, killing demons. Dante is casually shooting the demons while (Y/N) is casually punching his way through.
(Y/N): Come on! Is that all?
He stated as he uppercuts a demon up into the air.
Dante swings his sword up, sending two demons up with him before slicing them up. Afterwards, he then slams his sword down before teleporting to the other demons.
Meanwhile (Y/N), (Y/N) got hit by one of the demons. He grabs the demon the hit him then slams it to the ground. He then throws a couple of lightning bolts at the other demons, before punching the one behind him. He growls loudly before slamming his amplified-fist down on the ground, electrocuting the other demons.
Dante, suddenly appears behind him, gives (Y/N) a smack at the back of his head.
Dante: Take it easy there, kid. Take control.
(Y/N): R-Right.
Dante then slices the last demon behind him.
Dante: That's all of them.
(Y/N): That was quick. To think we came all this way for that.
Dante: Whatever it takes to pay that rent. Come on, let's head back. It's 2-day trip back

Two days later.
Morning, Dante is slouching on his desk with a magazine covering his face. A man then comes into the shop.
Dante: (peeks over to his magazine before covering it back) What do you want, Morrison?
Morrison: What other reason am I here for?
