So my childhood best friend and my girlfriend are sisters. So this means when I ask Luna to marry me, Mel will become my sister-in-law and Toby my brother-in-law.. Weird.
It was good to be like this, a giant family, some of us, literally family.
"What do you guys want to do now?" Mel had asked, looking around at us. We were all hungry.
"Eat!" Cam yelled it out before any of us did. We all laughed at him.
"What?" Cam looked at us. "I'm fucking hungry,"
"Okay," Mel continued laughing. "Do you want to go out or stay here?"
"Stay here. I hear your dad makes amazing food."
Their dad smiled and nodded. He told me and Toby to help in the kitchen. I knew why and it was actually scary.
If you really think about it, their dad is super scary and you wouldn't want to get on his bad side.
"I assume you would like to ask my other daughter to marry you?" He whispered so that the others wouldn't hear him.
"Yes, sir. Only if that's alright with you," I was not about to not ask permission.
He nodded. "Of course it is. You've been Mel's friend since you two were in 2nd grade."
Hell yeah. I was so going to ask Luna to marry me after all of this shit was over.
