Chapter 69

Alex's POV

"Welcome home, Alex!"

A bunch of people are smiling and there's a ton of food everywhere. This is great and but I'm a little tired and want to spend alone time with Niall.

My cousin Emily soon tackles me with a hug. Oh jeez.

"I have missed you so so so much! When I heard of what happened I panicked!" she says and hugs me even harder

"Well I'm okay now!" I laugh

"I'm going to get a coke, do you want one?" she smiles

"Yeah sure. Thanks!"

I soon feel Niall's arm around my waist. I look up at him and smile and he flashes me a grin.

"I swear I didn't know this was happening." he whispers in my ear

"Hey, it's okay. It's going to be great." I turn around to face him and peck his lips

He smiles and I'm soon lifted up from my feet. I screech but I'm laughing. What is he doing?

"The princess is back!" Niall yells

Everybody claps and yells 'yay'. I wonder who set up this party.

"Also, lets dedicate this party to the engagement!" Denise says excitingly

"So when's this wedding?" a familiar voice says

Is it who I think it is?

"David!" I squirm out of Niall's grasp

I soon see my oldest brother standing in front of me. Oh God, I have missed him so much!

I tackle him with a hug and I can hear him chuckle.

"I missed you so much!" I say excitingly

"Did you miss us?" another familiar voice says

My sister Michelle! Right next to her is my other sister Kimber!

"Oh my gosh! I can't believe its you guys!" I tackle my sisters with a hug

I can't believe this! Is this even real life?

"Who's this cutie?" Kimber says

I soon realize Niall is behind me. I lean back into his chest. This couldn't get any better.

"I'm Niall! Nice to meet you!" he says

"Aha, nice choice Alex." Michelle elbows me and smirks

"Oh shush and I know he's perfect." I say and Niall pecks my cheek

"Uncle Jim is here. He hasn't changed I swear! He thinks he lives in the 60s!" David laughs

My uncle Jim is my mom's brother. He acts like a guy from the 60's and that's what we all love about him.

"Where is he? I have to say hello!" I exclaim

I soon see him by the table where the food is. He's wearing the leather jacket that I got him for Christmas two years ago.

"Uncle Jim!"

He turns around and smiles. He puts his drink down and opens his arms so I can hug him.

"How's my queen? I haven't seen you in forever! I've missed my rad queen?" he laughs

I giggle. I just remember Him and I on thanksgiving rocking out to the Rolling Stones. He would play guitar and I would sing. I laugh at the memory.

"I know! How have ya been? I heard Pam is photographer now. How does she like it?" I ask

"She's really liking it. She just did wedding pictures the mayor. He just got married for like the third time." he laughs

"She should so do Niall and I's wedding pictures!" I suggest

"That will really thrill her! She's running late but she'll be here soon, kiddo!" he says and messes up my hair

"Aye Senorita, we're here!" I hear somebody yell at me

I turn around and see my best friends with a smile on their faces. We all have a group hug. We share our miss you's.

"Oh my gosh that was so much fun!" I exclaim

I plop down on Niall's bed and yawn. Tonight was so much fun. The party consisted of music, delicious food, and chatting with everybody.

"I'm exhausted." I yawn

"You know, we haven't done it in quite awhile." Niall smirks

He towers over me and starts to kiss down my neck to my collarbone. I pull away and wave my finger in his face.

"Hey now, the doctor said no sexual activity for a week." I say and walk over to my bag and pull out a pair of pjs

"You have to be kidding me! You've never turned me down before!" he laughs

"We need to stop acting like this! With that whole pregnancy scare maybe that was a sign to slow it down." I say awkwardly and put my arms around his neck

He's biting his lip and he's about to start laughing. Why is he about to laugh?

He soon starts to laugh and laugh and laugh.

"What's so funny?" I giggle

"Slow it down. Like I'll ever slow it down!" he chuckles

OH.

"Haha, very funny, Mr. Horan." I roll my eyes

I head to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I'm completely exhausted! I soon change and walk out of the bathroom. Niall is leaned up against the backboard of the bed and is watching the news.

I curl up next to him and look up to see him. He's so focused.

"The news?" I question

"It's quite interesting. It's scary to think what's happening to the country." he says

"Well, don't focus on that. Focus on meeee." I say and kiss his jaw

"Oh you asked for it, missy!" he laughs and I giggle

I guess Niall isn't going to follow the doctor's orders?

Niall's POV

The sun is shining through window so I get up. Alex is still asleep and I don't want to wake her up. I jog down the stairs and head towards the kitchen. I make a pot a coffee and I soon hear a creak from the stairs. Oh so Alex is up?

I'm proven wrong when I see my mom.

"You're up early, son." she says and grabs a mug

"I think I'll go to bed soon though." I yawn

"But the coffee?" she questions

"That's for you, mom." I come up with an excuse

I jog up the stairs and climb back into the bed. Alex is still sound asleep. I wrap my arms around her and kiss the back of her neck.

"Beautiful." I whisper and fall back asleep
