"Can we go on a date, Hao?"

I secretly blushed. Finally, I got the courage to ask him. I don't know where did I get it.

"Yeah. Sure."

I prepared my self a lot. I even put some make up on my face to expose more my beauty.

When I'm done, I looked at myself in front of the mirror. Then I realized something.

'We can't be in a relationship just like what I've wished for. I am just the one who's in love. And I can't force him to love me back, 'cause I know in the end, that will hurt so much. So much that no one can take that pain away.'

I wiped the tears escaped from my eyes as I walked outside my room. And there he is. Waiting for me. Because I want to.

"Hao, let's go?"

I tried to make my voice as jolly as I can. Gladly, I made it.

I asked cause we're both quiet.

"It's fine."

I just nodded. Seems like he doesn't really want to be with me. Yeah. Cause someone is taking care of his heart. It should be me, but nah. I wish!

"Um.. Hao, can I go with your unit? I promise, I'll be just quick!"

He stopped walking and he faced me.

"What will you do there?"

His words stabbed me. I'm really wounded right now. It really hurts. Even if he doesn't really go straight to the point.

"N-nothing. Can I?"

He turned his back again and continue on walking.

'Right. What should I expect? He'll treat me like a princess just like before? I forgot that we're both grown ups right now. Unrequited love is really hard. Seems like I'm an obsessed person, seems like I'm a stalker every time when I'm with him.'

"Let's go. I'll take you to your favorite restaurant. I'm also kinda hungry."

He said. But I stayed still. Just staring at his back. Have no plans to follow him.

'I do love him. I want him to be mine. But I can't. That's a mere fact.'

"Y/N! Don't just stand there!"

My tears fell again and I saw that he became guilty. Lol. Not at all I guess.

He walks toward me and hugged me.

"I'm sorry. Geez!"

I didn't hugged him back. I just cried silently and I tried to stop at sobbing but I failed.

He wiped away my tears.

"Hush now, Y/N. I'm sorry. Do you have any problem?"

'Yes, and you're my problem.'

"Nothing. Um, I think I need to go now. Sorry if I disturbed you, Hao."

'I love you..'

"I will take--"

"No, it's alright. Your phone is ringing repeatedly, I guess she misses you already. I can take care of myself. Gotta go."

I was about to go but then he hugged me from the back.
