how to actually stick to your goals

• write them down; it is proven that those who write their goals down are most likely to achieve them
• have a clear vision of the person you want to become and be specific! instead of saying ‚i want to eat healthier and study more' describe your ideal future self: what is their routine,how they carry themselves, what do they do in their freetime?what do they eat? how do they feel? „every action you take is a vote for the type of person you want to bekomme" (james clear, atomic habits)
• if youre serious about changing your habits: read atomic habits!!! its such a good book and full of insights.highly recommend
• set a reward for yourself: this could be anything,, going to the cinema, buy a new notebook or even go on a roadtrip
• change your routine; if you want to practice yoga make a new morning routine and wake up 30 minutes earlier (that's what i did and it really helped to stick to this new habbit), if you want to eat healthier make it a routine to cook for yourself in the evening; changing and creating new routines really help
• habbit tracker; this helps you to have an overview on how much you achieved this month and to know if you can actually treat yourself with your reward
• know why you wanna stick to new habbits
• watch motivational youtubers and get inspired
