The next day Kirstie comes in to visit Mitch, and let's just say it was very emotional.
"The room has to be dim because it'll hurt his head if it's not. I just wanted to tell you before we go in."
"Mitchy, someone wants to see you." Mitch looks over from the window and smiles widely.
"Holy shit, Kitty." Kirstie hugs him and cries into his shoulder.
"You can see me."
Mitch loses it as well, "I can see you. You're so fucking beautiful." They pull away, and Kirstie sits in the chair next to the bed.
"So are you. How are you so far?"
"It's been hard. Right now I'm okay, obviously."
"How long do you have to be in here?"
"Until I get used to light and colors without getting a migraine."
"I'll visit you everyday."
"Thanks, Kitty. Your hair is pretty, I love the ombré."
"You do? I've been playing around with different colors. I even had a few photoshoots."
"Bitch! Let me see!"
Kirstie laughs and takes out her phone.
"Wow, we love a model."
"You're hot."
