That weekend, the whole group comes over to help paint and decorate Evelyn's room.
The seven of them, and Occhi, are on their way to Home Depot looking for a color for her room.
"I don't want to drive."
"Babe, it's between you and Kevin. You're the only 18 year olds, therefore, you are the only two who can drive with this many people in the car." Mitch tells Scott.
Scott looks at Kevin, "Your car is bigger."
Scott groans, "Kev, that doesn't help my case."
"Whoops. You're older, too. September before October."
"Tod, you get shotgun if Kevin drives."
Todrick smiles at Kevin, "Sorry, baby, you're driving."
"Fine, but we're going in Scott's car."
"Deal, let's go."
Kevin and Todrick sit in the front, Scott, Mitch, and Evelyn sits in the middle row, while Kirstie and Avi sit in the third row.
They get to Home Depot and start looking for paints, "Ev, what color were you thinking?"
"Maybe a light or medium gray?"
"We can do that."
Evelyn quickly chooses a color, and they go to look at furniture.
"Wait, we need a crib and other baby stuff, right?" Evelyn stops them at the section with the baby furniture.
"Why would you need a crib?" Kirstie asks.
"I hope it's a girl."
Evelyn smiles, "Me too. Wait, why did you guys think I was staying with Scott?"
They all shrug, "We kind of just assumed that you had some family shit and you had to stay with him for a while."
"I mean, that's pretty much it. I got kicked out."
"I'm sorry, Ev."
"It's okay, I just want the baby to be safe and loved. That's something she would never get with my parents."
"That's a good way to think about it." Kevin comments.
"So you guys are all okay with it?"
"Of course we are. That would be a dumb reason to stop being someone's friend." Todrick assures her, everyone agreeing with him.
"When are you due?"
"Ooh, he could be born on my birthday." Kevin points out as they look around at cribs.
"That would be cool. I think I'll do online college, so I can be home with her."
"Have you thought of any names?" Mitch asks.
"I've always liked the name Tony for a boy." Mitch freezes for a second but nobody except Kevin notices.
"That's a nice name. I used to love that name, too."
"Are you all right? You seem tense."
"Oh, yeah. Just a small cramp, go ahead, I'll catch up."
They all continue, but Kevin stays with Mitch, "You froze up when she told you the name."
