Evening, Malhotra Mansion

Mukti called both Cabir and Navya to Malhotra mansion. She along with Nandini and Manik were waiting for them in the living room. Getting uncomfortable sitting along with them, Nandu decides to leave them alone.

Nandu(politely): Manik, I am in my room. Just call me whenever these two arrive.

Manik nods hesitantly but Mukti jumps in.

Mukti(frowns): Oh hello, Ms. Workaholic. Kabhi files ke alawa humse bhi baat kar liya karo.

Both Nandu and Manik get startled by her words. It was the first time Mukti was addressing her something other than being formal. Manik made a mental note to ask her about this later.

Mukti(pouts): I mean, we never spend time together. Let's talk. Phir main chali jaungi and we won't be able to talk.

Nandu(confused): Okay.

Mukti(excited): Thank you, Babydoll.

Nandu(surprised): Babydoll?

Mukti(pulling her cheek): Haan. Look at you how cute you are. Tumhe naam pasand nahi aaya?

Nandu(hesitantly): It's good. Excuse me. I need to make a call. I will be back.

Nandu leaves the place when Manik, who was amused all this while, bombarded Mukti with questions.

Manik(whisper yelled): Pagal ladki. Kar kya rahi hai? Babydoll? You are scaring her, bro.

Mukti(informs): Scaring nahi. I got to know she'll open up if you put some efforts and behave a bit stubborn. Kab tak main aise hi, hello karti rahungi uske saath. She's becoming an important part of my life. Mere Majnu ki Laila jo hai.

Manik blushes to which Mukti ruffles his hair. They were talking when Nandu enters along with Cabir and Navya. Navya hugs Mukti.

Cabir(dramatically): What a pleasant surprise, Mukti. I am so blessed. Maine socha bhi nahi tha ki main tumhe apni aankhon se dekhunga. I didn't even know tum yahan ho. Aankhein taras gayi thi tujhe dekhne.

Mukti(glares): Joker, ho gaya tera? I guess, maine hi tujhe phone karke bulaya idhar?

Cabir(sheepishly): Haan toh main surprise hona ka act kar raha tha. Ab bata mere liye koi gift le aayi?

Mukti(declared): Nahi.

Cabir(frowns): Manik ke liye?

Mukti(teased): Haan.

Cabir(whines): This is not done yaar. Why only for Manik? You don't love me anymore. (Turning towards Manik) Bhai, jo tera hai woh mera hai. La gift le aa mere liye.

Manik glares at him with a pout which was noticed by Nandu.

Nandu(smiled): Haan, Manik. Gift le aao. That's what friendship is right?

Cabir grinned. While Mukti and Navya were amused. Manik gives her a look. Nandu winks at him before turning towards Cabir and continuing.

Nandu(smirks): But along with that exchange your jobs too. Manik tumhara job karega and tum mere assistant. How about that? Remember, jo Manik ka hai woh tumhara hai and vice-versa?

Manik grins widely making other bursts out laughing.

Cabir(horrified): Nahi chahiye. Bhai, gift bhi tu hi rakh aur apne boss ko bhi.

"I agree with this deal. Manik mera company handle kar lo, I'll join as Nandu's assistant."

They turn back and find a grinning Abhimanyu with a bouquet. Manik gets furious seeing him and was busy controlling his anger.
