Today was Rosewood 60th Basket Auction. Everyone or most people in Rosewood would make food to put in the basket and the town will get together to auction off the basket, and each person that gets a basket, the winner gets to have a lunch out with the person who made it and for Toby this was his lucky day.

He knew that Spencer Hasting (his crush since 3rd grade) would be making a basket, so this year he decided not to enter and just try to win her basket and eat with her

Toby's POV

"So you going to be making a basket this year?" Caleb asking as he makes a basket of his own filling it with sandwiches, desserts and drinks

"No not this year" I smiled "I heard Spencer Hastings will be making one and I've got to have it" I said 

"Why do you want Spencer's basket so much" he asked clueless

"I thought it was obvious I like Spencer, like a lot" I smiled shyly

"Whoa, really, she's hot" 

"She's so smart, and compassionate and so beautiful"

"Why haven't you asked her out before?" he ask as he finishes up with the basket

"She was dating Alex Santiago at the time. I've been waiting since 8th grade to have Spencer in my arms and getting that basket is the key" I said as we both walked to the door and headed to the car

"Well dude you better bargain really good because I heard Marco, Colin and Jonny are also hoping to get that basket as well" he said starting the car

"Are you serious?" I shouted

"All you have to do is bid the highest and you'll be eating with Spencer, and if you're lucky you might get to eat her" Caleb smirked

"Dude" I said surprisingly

At the park

The whole town gather around for the auction. 50% of the town made a basket and the other 50% just wanted to Auction. Up on the stage was the people who made the baskets. Standing there was Alison, Aria, Spencer, Caleb and some other people. All the money that will be auctioned off was going to a charity, so it was for a good cause. 

"So Toby I heard Yvonne is hoping that you would bid for her basket" Emily smirked

"Well she can keep hoping  because I'm biding for Spencer Hastings" I said rocking back and forth

"You like Spencer Hastings?" Emily said in disbelief

"Yeah I do" I smiled

"Well you better bid high because Jonny, Colin and Marco are biding for Spencer" Emily said

"Yeah I know Caleb was telling me about them" I told her

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to our 60th Basket Auction, where you bid for a basket and get to eat with the person who made it, so let's begin shall we?" Justin, our Town selector announced "First up we have Brianna who packed sandwiches, key lime pie and sparkling water, who wants to start the biding?" Justin asked

"$10" a person shouts

"Okay we have $10, do I hear a $15?" Justin asked

no one else said anything

"Going once? Twice? Sold to the guy in the blue shirt" Justin shouts. Brianna grabs her basket and her and the guy go off to enjoy their meals

Next up was Caleb and of course it was obvious Hanna was going to get the basket
