Meeting the twins (part 2 to you failed)

Authors note : lets pretend Spencer and Toby didn't get back yet, I felt like it was too early for that, so pretend it never happened

Spencer's POV

I pushed Toby off and wiped my lips

"We can't do that, you're engaged, you're leaving, I'm leaving" I said with tears in my eyes. He caresses my face like he always did when we were together. "Toby stop" I said pushing his hand off my face. "There isn't a us anymore okay, you don't get to weigh in my life anymore" I spat using his words against him.

"What about the twins?" he said sadly. 

"Look I'll bring them back down only because I have too, but that's it, after this we will file for custody. So maybe a year later, you can see them" I said

"Why do I have to wait a year to see my own kids"

"because I want them to see how Italy is like, I want them to have all holidays, their birthdays there"

"I can't allow that Spencer please" he said crying.

"Come on we're going to GeorgeTown so you can meet the twins. We hop in my car and drove off.

Toby's POV

"tell me about Marion and Trent" I spoke out of the blue

"Well they are 3 almost 4. They both have high energy and is very smart. Marion already knows how to play the piano. I guess she got that from your mom. She's basically  a mini her and Trent is you and me combined. They love chocolate, they hate the dark. Trent is extremely protective over his sister. He once bit a doctor when he gave Marion a needle on her arm.

"they must be great" I said sadly

"They are, I'll die for them if I have to" she says

"Can I be honest?" I asked

'What about?"

"I don't want to leave and go to Maine, Yvonne is making me because she thinks all of you guys are terrible people and she doesn't want to associate people like that" I confessed

"So you do actually think we're terrible people. Toby we all said we were sorry about accusing you for Alison's murder. Wow Toby I thought we all moved on from that" she spat.

"I dont think that, it's her"

'The why didn't you say that, huh why keep that mouth shut"

"I- I don't know okay" I said tearing up. I'm such a horrible person. I couldn't be trusted. I frickin left Spencer all alone to raise two kids

2 hours later

"We're here" she said waking me up, we both get out the car and walked to her door.

"Mommy" they both screamed in excitment an hugged her and Spencer kissed them all over their faces.

"Mommy missed you so much" she cried. she hugged them both tightly.

"Hey Spencer" some girl who looks around Spencer's age greets

"Hey and Thanks again for watching them" Spencer pulls out a $100 bill and gives it to her

"Thanks Spencer, you didn't have to do this, you know I love my GodKids"

"I know Betty but it's to show you my appreciation" Spencer smiles Betty smiles and leaves.

"Hey kids come over here, I have someone I want you to meet" Spencer shouts

"Yes Mommy" they both said. Spencer gestures me to come close, this is you dad"

The kids gasp. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing

"Is he gonna stay wif us Momma" Marion asked

"No sorry baby, but we're moving and he's moving somewhere else" she said. "Go hug Daddy and be nice, that means you Trent". The kids come over and I take a long look at them. They are so beautiful. I hug them tight. As I was hugging it came to me, I can't leave them, I can't leave Spencer. I love her. Oh My Gosh. I love Spencer, she's the one I really want. Not Yvonne. I let them go and began playing with them.

an hour later 

I stepped outside and dialed a number

"Hey it's me, I can't do this, I'm sorry, I don't want to live in Maine, I don't want to be with you, I'm still in love with Spencer. She's the one I really want to spend my entire life with her. I'm sorry I wasted your time-Hello? Hello? She mustuve hung up. I go back inside and see Spencer packing. 

"So you're really leaving?" I asked sadly

"yup it's for the best"

"then I'm coming with you" I said grabbing her hand

"toby don't be rid-

"Im not, I want a future with my family and if following you to Italy is the way, I'm willing to do it. I broke off all things with Yvonne." I smiled

"Why would-

Before she can continue I attack her lips softly and deeply and passionate. I lifted her up as she wraps her long legs around me and we take it to bed.

1 year later..

"okay kids be careful okay don't get into trouble" Spencer shouts as the kids go to school. We officially live in Italy. Spencer and I worked everything out. We're not engaged...yet. She wants to wait at least another year to make things official with us, and I'm totally okay with that. We are dating that's for sure. I lay my hand on Spencer's belly and kissed it

"stop that tickles" she laughs

"why the baby loves it everytime I kiss her"

"how you know it's gonna be a girl"

"father's instinct" I said kissing her lips so softly. I'm ready for whatever is there to come.
