How to make her happy again

Toby's POV

It's been 6 month since Spencer and I started dating again. I'm all excited I have her again, and this time I wont let her go again and that is a promise. As I said I'm all excited but I don't think Spencer is. It's not like her, like she is happy but not as happy. It's almost like she feels uncomfortable with me. Have I done something t make her feel that way? Do I smell? Is it the beard, I didn't like having much so I cut it down a little so it wont be all over the place. I'll try to cheer her up

I started cooking her favorite meal, Spaghetti with meat sauce, I have her favorite drink Cherry Soda with crushed ice. As I was cooking I hear footsteps coming down the stairs

"whats all this?" she asked smiling at the dinner set table

"Well this is for you" I smile as I put the food on the plates. I kissed her cheek before grabbing her hand and leading her to the table

"This is all so nice, thanks Toby" she says as I pulled out the chair to let her sit down. I went to sit down and we began eating

"So, how was your day Spence" I said as I began eating

she shrugs her shoulders looking at her food "great, fine, how was yours?" she mumbled

"Mine was good, Spencer what's wrong, you're not eating your food, you love spaghetti" I asked worriedly

"guess I'm not really hungry" she smiles sadly. She's so sad, I have the perfect gift for her

I took the envelope from my pocket and slid it to her on the table hoping this will make her smile. It has too, it's been her dreams to go there. When she sees it she just stares.

"Oh thanks Toby" she says

"We leave for Paris next week, you always wanted to go there right? I said cheerfully

"Oh yeah uh sure, I'm full Im gonna shower and get ready for bed, thanks for the bed" she mumbles.

I sigh, what's wrong with her, lately ever since we started dating she has been so depressed and uncomfortable. I know for sure it isnt A.D cause she will be very jumpy and she's not. 

After I finished cleaning the kitchen I go upstairs to our bedroom once I get up there Spencer comes out the shower already dressed

"going to bed already?" I asked

"no I'm just gonna get ice cream and come back up and read a book" she says and goes downstairs.

I decided to shower too. I get my towel and close the door and turn on the shower. It's cold so I sit on the edge waiting for it to get hot. Then I hear a  bing, It was Spencer's phone. Ignore it and tested the water to see it was hot. Sure enough it is so I hope in.

someone is really trying to reach Spencer but she's downstairs. I decided to check her phone and I see a bunch of messages from Ali. One text stood out

from Ali: Spencer you are not Toby's second choice, tell him how you feel

"second choice" I said to myself  Why would Spencer feel that way. I scrolled down to see more messages and read them all

from Spencer: Lately I've been feeling like I'm second choice with Toby

from Ali: why is that honey?

from Spencer: ever since he proposed to Yvonne then she dies he suddenly comes to me

from Ali: He came to you cause he loves you sweetie
