Third Person

Scrolling through my cell phone for the 20th time today

Reading that text you sent me again

Though I memorized it anyway

It was in afternoon in December

When it reminded you of the day

When we bumped into each other

But you didn't say hi cause I looked away

And maybe that was the biggest mistake of my life

And maybe I haven't moved on since that night

Cause it's 12:51 and I thought my feelings were gone

But I'm lying on my bed, thinking of you again

And the moon shines so bright, but I gotta dry these tears tonight

Cause you're moving on and I'm not that strong to hold on any longer

Bom abruptly turns her head to the wall clock, her eyes filled with obliviousness, then back to Dara, who was melancholy singing a song while she makes herself a coffee. Bom sighs, flipping the newspaper and reads the entertainment section again, Big Bang's picture greeting her eyes. She did not focus on all of them, but just finds her boyfriend in the picture and look at him with awe, until Dara sang again.

Easy come, easy go, that's just how you live

Oh, take, take, take it all but you never give

Should've known you was trouble from the first kiss

Had your eyes wide open, why were they open?

Dara pauses, taking a sip from her cup of coffee, now sitting on the dining chair and Bom sharply turns her head to her, removing her attention to her hubby, her eyes half-lidded with irritation, then Dara continues.

Gave you all I had and you tossed it in the trash

You tossed it in the trash, you did

To give me all your love is all I ever asked

'Cause what you don't understand is

I'd catch a grenade for ya

Throw my hand on a blade for ya

I'd jump in front of a train for ya

You know I'd do anything for ya

I would go through all this pain

Take a bullet straight through my brain

Yes, I would die for you, baby

But you won't do the same

"Deredendendenren Derendendendenren..." Dara mimicked the piano solo, her fist thrown midway through the air while her eyes shut, dramatically and Bom places the newspaper on the table at the side of the couch, now bore from reading it, decided she will just listen to her best friend. Dara, unaware of her surroundings, just keep on singing sad songs from her heart, as she stirs her coffee.

It's been a long and winding journey

But I'm finally here tonight picking up the pieces

And walking back into the night into the sunset of your glory

When my heart and future lies there's nothing like that feeling
