CHAPTER 4: AVOIDANCE

Fae's P.O.V 

Feeling warm air on my face opened my eyes and saw a body,  I shut my eyes thinking that I was dreaming. Then when I realized I was not dreaming, opening my eyes and saw Hayden lying next to me asleep. I jerked up immediately, thankful my clothes were still on me.

He stirred then lifted his head realizing that he had fallen asleep. Blinking his eyes open he looked right at me.

I bit my lip; his dirty blonde hair was gorgeously bed-messy. His voice sexy with sleep. 

Sexy. 

I choked on my spit. Was I going crazy. I realized he was still staring at me through his dark eyelashes. I moved my gaze and got up from the bed embarrassed.

He grabbed my wrist and stopped me. "Don't go." He said.

"I have to check on everyone." I said quickly breaking away from his grasp. My cheeks heated at the fact that he slept beside me. I quickly went down the stairs and looked for my phone finding it on the island. It was 1:00pm already. Thank God I did not have any games or practices this weekend. I turned to find Chad and Vivian asleep in each other's arms. They looked cute on the sofa. I did not want to disturb them and the fact that Vivian would kill me if I even dared to. I found Emma knocked out in the guest bedroom and Logan on the ground. They had their clothes on, so I assumed that they didn't get far. Logan was snoring, so I closed the door halfway and noticed that someone had already cleaned up everything. My mind wandered to Hayden.

I felt my cheeks heating to the fact that he slept on the same bed as me. Why? Why me? So many questions ran through my head.

Vivian was going to be so mad that I let him into her bedroom. I sighed and went to the other guest room crossing my fingers that my spare toothbrush and some of my stuff was still there. I went to the bathroom and found my stuff. Getting into the shower I washed myself with the creamy soap and scrubbed my hair. The warm water felt good on my back which felt sore once again. I got out of the shower and dried myself off. I drowned two Tylenol tablets with the faucet water. I combed my hair with my fingers. I went to the closet and found none of my old clothes but some of Vivian's that she gave to me a while ago. I pulled on a pair of black jeans and a grey Henley full-sleeve. I headed downstairs reminding myself that I would have to wash her sleeping clothes that she had given me.

I walked downstairs and found Hayden in the living room. He was wearing the same gray sweat pants that and t-shirt from earlier. He had Logan leaning against him, with his arm around his neck, supporting him. Logan was sleeping like he was unconscious. I saw that Chad was awake and kissing Vivian goodbye.

He grabbed his car keys and took Logan off Hayden's shoulders. "I'll drop him home." Chad said. He smiled at me. "Bye Fae." He said before leaving.

Hayden followed him not turning around to say bye. Was he mad at me? I shrugged it off as I did not care much. I went over to Vivian and sat on the couch. She had the biggest grin on her face.

"I think I really like Chad." She announced, after they all had left. "Did you kiss Ethan? Or Hayden?" She asked laughing.

"Neither. Hayden slept next to me. But he didn't not touch me." I said as her eyes widened. Or at least I hopped nothing happened, I thought to myself.

"Is he into you, because he was not ok with the idea of you and Ethan." She said streching her arms over her head.

"Ethan asked me out." I cautiously.

"Did you say yes?" She asked eagerly.

"I didn't answer him." I said looking down. Thinking again about Hayden intercepting the dare. It was a dare, no way Ethan had feelings for me.
