*after school*
As I'm walking out of school I feel someone touch my shoulder the same way Jessica did. I swear if it's her
I turn around and it's not it's Jack
"Oh hey" I say
"Hi. So umm"
"Do you want me to bring you home" I say
"Yes please"
We go in my car and I start to drive away
I call my mom cause I know she'll be mad if I come home late again. I probably won't be that late seeing we live near each other but with my luck it'll come home late and she'll be mad
I call her and she answers
"Hey I'm bringing Jack home and then I'll be home. I probably won't be late but just in case my car breaks down I might as well tell you" I say
"Okay as long as you get home eventually" my mom says
"Woah eventually that's a step up from what you usually say"
"Don't get excited this is just a special occasion"
"Okay well bye"
I hang up
"Does she really care if you're late or not" jack says
"Yes. She wants to make sure I'm not doing something illegal. Which to her could mean anything. But today was different"
"Oh Wow. See my sister is more like that"
"Oh Sydney"
"Yeah"
"I see"
"Oh Speaking of she'll probably be really happy when I tell her we're back together" he says grabbing my hand
"I'm glad she likes me"
"Me too. Cause trust me if she didn't you would know cause she'd tell you"
"It's good to be honest"
"See What It can lead to" he says smiling
