I sit down and text Chris

M- hey it's Julia
C- hi so what exactly did you do
M- so Jack told me that he told Zach I like him so I called and texting Zach to see if he really did and his gf was with him and thought something weird was going on so she broke up with him
C- wow
M- ik I feel awful
C- me too but for another reason
M- oh yeah do you know what's wrong
C- no not at all and when I went to the doctors they said I'd have to be out for a while
M- oh that's awful
C- ik usually I hate school and all but this year and school I don't really mind it
M- oh wow can't relate
C- that sucks
M- well class is about to start so imma go
C- byeee if you're bored just text me
M- I probably will

I start smiling for some reason and put my phone down

"Who's that" Zach says
"Chris"
"Wh- oh Chris what happened to him" he asks
"He's really sick so he can't be at school"
"Aw that sucks"
"Yup" I say
"Speaking of Chris do you like him"
"I mean he's only been here for a week but yeah he's cool" I say
"Hey maybe he could be a new boyfriend for you" he says
"Seriously why is everything about dating"

Right when I say dating Jack comes by

"I've heard you say dating and I'm here" he says
"What does this have to do with you" I say
"Well I Mean if you say dating it obviously means me. Of course"
"How many times do I have to tell you I rather date literally anything but you"
"I know you're lying"
"Nope im really not."
"How do you not miss me"
"When I start I realize if your not missing me why should I miss you" I say
"Who said I don't"
"It's obvious"
"Well some people just don't like sharing or showing how they feel" he says walking away

What does that mean. I'm so confused
