I get out of my car and get him. I put his arm around my shoulder and walk towards his house holding his side

I get to the door and I knock

"Woah what happened" Sydney says opening the door
"He got into a fight. Did the school not call?" I say giving Jack to Sydney

She carries him inside and lays him on the couch

"Hey come inside" Sydney says

I walk in the house and I sit next to Jack. Sydney sits across from us.

"So what exactly happened" Sydney asks

I look at Jack waiting for him to respond

"Can you tell her it hurts to talk" he says
"Well what I've heard was this kid Chris went up to Jack asking if he hates him and I guess jack said yes. And then Chris got mad and slapped him so Jack then punched him. And at the end Chris just has a cut lip and eye. And well as you can see Jacks close to dying." I say
"Wow Jack you are stupid" Sydney says
"Wow thanks how about instead of being Mean to me bring me too the hospital so I can see if my ribs broken" Jack says
"Well someone's a little feisty today" Sydney says and I laugh

We put him in the backseat of my car and go to the hospital.

I call my mom and tell her

"Hey I'm going to be a little late I have to take Jack to the hospital" I say
"Oh no what happened"
"I'll explain later I got to go. I'll text you when I'm on my way home"
"Okay bye" she says hanging up
