I get a call from Zach and I answer it
"Hello" I say
"Hi" he says sad
"Are you okay" I say
"No"
"Oh my god what's wrong"
"Well she broke up with me"
"Why" I ask
"Apparently I'm keeping secrets from her"
"Like" I say
"I don't know. I say this all the time but this time it's for real. I really really liked her and I still do I just want to be with her I didn't even keep any secrets"
"Im sorry" I say
"What did you do" he says
"I called"
"But you didn't know"
"I know I know but still I'm sorry"
"It's Fine"
"No it's not if I didn't call she wouldn't have answered and wouldn't be suspicious."
"It's actually Jacks"
"Why" i ask hoping it's not about him telling him I like him
"Because he had the conversation with you, then got mad at you, then told me something, then told you which made you call me, which made her answer which made her think somethings weird. So it's really Jacks fault"
"Oh well what did Zach tell you" I say
"Umm he said you like me"
"Oh um I gotta go" I say hanging up
I hang up the phone and text Jack
M- wow thanks a lot Jack I thought you were joking about telling Zach but turns out you weren't
J- sorry well at least you shouldn't like him anymore
M- it's a lot harder than you think
J- well maybe if you'd date me again you wouldn't like him
M- id rather date a mole rat
J- wow
I stop texting him and I get a call from Zach
