When I get home it's dark

"Why are you home so late" my mom says as I walk in the house
"I was driving Zach home" I tell her
"And why couldn't he go home on his own"
"He missed the bus and I told him I could drive him home. And he doesn't live that close so it took a whole"

I go upstairs and go on my phone

I have a text from Zach and I open it

Z- hey thanks for driving me home
M- np
Z- I was wondering what r ur feelings on Jessica
M- she's nice I guess why
Z- Umm well I really like her and I want to ask her out
M- r u serious it's only been a day and ur already going to ask a new girl out
Z- yeah but I like her
M- whatever Zach u say that about every single girl.
Z- so should I ask her
M- well I don't think u should but u probably will
Z- but I want ur opinion
M- well my opinion is that you shouldn't ask her but I know you will cause you don't listen to me
Z- fine I won't ask her

M- Zach every girl likes you she won't say no
