Chapter 2: Um Ben...what are you doing?

Mal's POV
I sighed as I looked at my Vk outfit and smiled.
"You ready?" Evie asked, making me look up.
"Look E, I know you don't want me t-"
I was cut off by a tight hug.
"I just don't want you to go again like last time" she whispered.
"Calm down E, I'm going with Ben" I said "I will always come back"
"You promise?"
"Promise"
She let go of me and smiled.
"So...who's idea was it?" She asked.
"Ben's" I replied, making her widen her eyes and she sat on her bed.
"Really?" She asked as I sat on her bed.
"Yeah, he noticed I wasn't myself and asked if we wanted to go" I said.
"I think it would be good" she said, smiling.

"Mal, open up!"
"Your prince has arrived" Evie said standing up.
"It's king actually" he said from the other side of the door.
I stood up and opened the door to see him in his Isle outfit.
"You have no idea how many looks I've go- Mal, are you okay?"
I blushed.
"I think she's blown away" Evie said and then pushed us out the dorm "Now have fun and stay safe!"
She slammed the door .
I giggled.
"She's determined to get us out" Ben said.
"Tell me about it" I muttered "Let's go!"

"We're here" the driver said "I will be back here tomorrow mid afternoon"
"Thank you" I said as we got out the limo.
Luckily the limo went into an abandoned part of the Isle so it didn't look suspicious.
Ben hoped out and smiled.
"Now you can give me a tour, last time I was here I was kidnapped so" he said.
"Shall we?" I asked as I put my hand out.
"We shall" he said as he linked arms with mine.

"There could be a chance we bump into Harry and that" I whispered into his ear as we walked in the crowed streets.
"Okay" he said.
"So if that happens-"
"We wing it?" He asked.
I shrugged.
"I was gonna say fight them but you know, that works too" I said as we got to my old hideout.
"Isn't that the place you stayed when you were here?" He asked.
I nodded.
"This was the gangs hide out" I said, throwing a rock at the 'cation; rocks' sign, making it swing back and the door open "Come on, let's go up"
He followed me up the stairs.
When we got in I noticed my spray cans were where I left them after I talked to Ben.
"Wow" he said, grabbing one of the cans.
He went to the wall and started to spray something.
"Um...what are you doing Ben?" I asked.
"Making a bunny!" He exclaimed when he finished.
I looked at the lines made.
I shake my head.
"Ben, Ben, Ben, what am I going to do with you?" I asked
"Teach me how to spray paint?" he asked hopefully.
"Okay Ben, let's see if you can master the skills" I said.
"I think I can master the skills thank you" he replied.
"Okay so this..."

~1 hour later~

I smiled as I put the finishing touch on Ben and I's masterpiece.

"Looking good, you improved from that bunny you made" I said, smirking.
"Oi!" He exclaimed.
I giggled.
"Oh look who's back!"
I turned and saw a hooked figure.
"Hey Harry" I said "And you're here because?"
He smirked.
"Feisty are we today?" He asked.
"Always for you" I snapped back.
"What is you and Benny boy doing here?" He asked.
"Mal wanted to see the Isle" Ben said "And that concerns you because?"
"Do you miss home?" Harry teased.
"Do you miss CJ!" I snapped back.
"Ouch, thats a nerve you hit Mal" he said, faking hurt.
I rolled my eyes.
"Get out of here Harry" I said.
"Am I not allow to see my favourite Auradon girl?" He asked.
I growled.
"Do not call me an Auradon girl" I snapped.
"SO what are you then because you're defiantly not Isle" He asked, stepping closer to me.
"Alright enough" Ben said "Harry, I'm not going to say this again, leave"
Harry sighed and frowned.
"Oh, I just wanted to see Mal again, you know she was my best friend before Uma hated her" Harry said "Uma was very stubborn but I think she's forgiven Mal now, after whatever you talked into her when she tried to take over Auradon"
"She's back here?" Ben asked.
"There may not be holes in the barrier above air but there is under water; Uma's magic lasted so long that she returned back" Harry said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because she never runs from her people" Harry said.
"Excuse me, I was taken!" I said.
"And look where that got you, lady of the court!" Harry said as he stepped closer; we were only a few feet away from each other "Are you happy now?"
"I am actually" I said proudly.
"Then why are you here?" He asked...with concern.
"Is it a problem that she's the best of both worlds?" Ben asked, hugging me from behind.
I looked into Harry's eyes and noticed a rare but familiar look in his eyes.
"Harry...what's going on here?" I asked "You only look like that when something's wrong"
"Nothing" he said quickly and his voice went higher.
I pushed Ben off of me and crossed my arms.
"Harry Thomas Hook, talk to me! I care about the Isle too! Just because I left doesn't mean I don't care" I said.
He sighed and looked down.
"Ursula is finally moving around and found a lizard who she believes is Maleficent" Harry said, making me freeze.
"Oh god" I whispered.
"And after a couple of mouths turned into Maleficent and now she's trying to get you" Harry said, looking at me.
"But, she would have to love to come back to normal" Ben said.
"There's a flaw in that" I said "She could love evil"
"Yeah" Harry said "I'm just worried, if she finds you here-"
"I'll be fine" I said, "Thank you for being concerned though"
He smiled.
"At lest let me take you to Ursula's fish and chips" he said, looking at both of us.
"What about Maleficent and Ursula?" Ben asked.
"Uma and the crew don't like what they're doing so I think they might protect you" Harry said, cuing my stomach growling.
"Thats a risk I'm gonna take because I missed lunch today"
Both boys looked at me with anger.
"MAL!"
"I'm sorry, I forgot! Okay...and nice and on sync boys!"
