My heavy lids lifted sleepily, the scene before me forming a blurry picture. A figure stood above me. Will? I thought hesitantly. My stomach suddenly lurched and I was forced to acknowledge the constant swaying of my body. I tried to sit up, but strong arms wrapped around my knees and shoulder kept me from this.

"Easy there, little lady," I heard from above me. Disappointment flooded my senses as I identified Wade's voice. Slowly, I was able to make out his blonde hair, the rest of his features soon following. The swinging sensation was created by his steps as he carried me bridal style. Turning my head, I could make out Courtney, Ashley and Morgan walking through the woods with us. Beside me, Honor was curled in Will's arms, her eyes closed. I felt a pang of jealousy seeing how comfortable she was sleeping next to his body, how carefully he cradled her. I shook my head to clear the ridiculous thoughts, but only succeeded in burdening myself with a blaring headache.

Wade laughed when I cringed.

"Wouldn't do that if I were you."

"Thanks for the tip," I replied dryly. "Couldn't have mentioned it before I did it?"

He shook me in response and I clenched my teeth as a fresh wave came, hammering at my skull. "How was I supposed to know you'd be hungover?" he asked, too happily in my opinion.

"How many drinks did you even have?"he continued. His and the others' steps made crunching noises on the floor as they walked.

I thought about it for a moment.

"Three, I think," I said meekly.

He let out a hearty laugh. "Did you hear that?" he nudged Will. "Only three beers and she's already hungover!" He looked back down at me. "You're going to hate yourself in the morning," he told me with a grin.

"Shut up," I muttered, trying to limit all movement.

The trees gradually thinned as we walked; along the path this time, I noted. At last we broke through and stood in the grassy parking lot.

"Where's you guys' car?" Will asked.

"Way over here," I heard Ashley sigh. "No wonder we missed the trail."

"You mean I have to carry this lub all the way over there?" Wade jostled me again and I scrunched my eyes shut. Breaking my immobility streak, I punched him in the chest.

"What, you don't like when I shake you?" he asked laughingly.

"No," I hissed through my teeth.

I could hear the smirk in his voice. "So you mean it doesn't feel good when I do this?" Suddenly I was being hefted up in the air. Effortlessly, Wade draped me over his should before I could protest. Blood rushed to my head, pounding in my ears.

"Are you really so arrogant that you think I want to look at your butt?" I yelled a him, abandoning all hope of losing the headache. I tried hitting his back, but I doubted that he could even feel it through all that muscle.

"Who said anything about looking at my butt? I think you came up with that by yourself little lady." His grin must have been stretched across his entire face by now.

"You -" I stopped as I realized what I was wearing. "Oh my god! Put me down right now! I'm in a freaking dress!"

"I noticed that. It's quite a nice view from here."

"You idiot!" I shrieked, swinging my foot, still clad in stilettos, toward his face. He saw it coming though, and easily dodged out of the way.

"You're going to have to be faster than that to hit the star football player," he teased.
