"If you keep in believing . . ."

The first day of the ball was today, and people were gathering in the ballroom, waiting for the prince to arrive.

Jeanne sat in her carriage once pumpkin that Jin has made for her. She was just outside the castle steps, she was nervous. She was playing with the silver fabric of her moon like dress. 'What if mother does recognize me? What would she to me here? What would she do to me at home?'

Her thoughts got cut short as the carriage door opened and a white gloved hand was offered to her. Taking it, the hand guided her out of the carriage to face the owner of said hand.

It was a short man, around Jimin's height, he was skinny and pale but handsome nonetheless. He was wearing a black suit and dress shoes. His brown hair was messy and paired very nicely with his dark brown eyes.

The man smiled at Jeanne, showing his gums as he does, "It's alright Jeanne, everything will be fine

The man smiled at Jeanne, showing his gums as he does, "It's alright Jeanne, everything will be fine. The fairy man said that everything will be okay, don't you remember?"

Jeanne couldn't help but smile back, "I remember Suga, don't worry. Just be right here at midnight okay?"

The dog turned human nodded be for hugging his owner tightly, "I'll be here, don't worry."

The young woman let go of the hug and began making her way up the stairs to the castle. She could help but to laugh at the thought of talking to her dog. Her fairy godfather had needed someone to steer the carriage, so he had turned Suga into a human to do the job.

As Jeanne got closer to the doors of the castle, she was becoming more and more nervous. She wanted to see the prince again so badly, 'What if she doesn't recognize me? What if Jin's spell effects him as well?'

Reaching the doors, the young blond pushed her aside as the guards pushed open the doors, staring in awe at the woman before them.

When the doors opened everyone in the room looked at Jeanne, including her step-family that were off in the corner. When Jenna looked up in front of her, there stood the prince, in a midnight blue suit, standing on the stairs. Looking at her.

When Jeanne walks a bit further into the room so the guards can close the doors, the prince quickly makes his way down the stairs and across the room to where she stands. The prince smiled down at her with the brightest smile she has ever seen in her entire life.

"You came", the prince said quietly so only she would hear.

Jeanne was surprised, "You remember me?"

Hoseok chuckles a bit at her question, "Of course I do, it hasn't been that long since we saw each other. It was yesterday."

Giggling, Jeanne nodded, "I suppose you're right."

The prince then bowed with his hand out in front of him before he asked, "May I have this dance?"

   Smiling, Jeanne replied, "Of course."

And that was it. The prince guided the young blond to the middle of the ballroom before pulling her into him to dance. The music seemed to wash over them both, making it the only thing they could hear. They could only see each other, it was like there wasn't a single person in the room besides them.

Jeanne couldn't help but smile at the grinning man that danced with her. She just meet him, but she can't help but like him. She doesn't know why, she just does.

"I have a question", Hoseok looked down at the beautiful woman dancing with him.

    "What is it?"

"Why did you look scared the other day? When I mentioned going home?", it had been bothering the prince all day, though he doesn't understand why. He can't help but think about her, it honestly scares a bit. He doesn't know how to deal with this feeling she gives him. It's like he wants to protect her, for everything, but he doesn't know why.

Jeanne looked down as the two of them swayed and moved along with music, "It was nothing, I swear."

Hoseok drowned only ever so slightly, "How come I don't believe you?"

"I'm just not ready to tell, I just meet you, I'm sorry", the blond woman looked up into the prince's brown eyes. She needed him to know that she wasn't ready to say anything. She wanted to tell him, though she didn't know him. She had just meet the prince in person yesterday, but she already was getting attached. Jeanne didn't want to do that, this ball is for him to find a bride, 'He probably only sees me as another girl looking to be his bride for no reason except he's royalty.'

"Alright, you don't have to tell me just yet", the young man's smile returned to his lips as he stared into Jeanne's eyes. Hoseok was about to ask another question when the loud ringing of a bell broke the silence.

'It's midnight!', Jeanne panicked. She quickly pulled herself away from the prince cause of him to look at her in confusion.

    "Are you alright? What's wrong?"
Jeanne was quickly making her way to the door, the prince a bit away from her, "Yes, I'm fine. I just really have to be going."

Panic filled the prince's eyes, "What?! Can't you stay a little longer? Jea—"

"I'll be back tomorrow, don't worry!", Jeanne smiled, quickly cutting him off before he could yell her name.

Then she turned and ran down the stairs of the castle, jumping into the already opened door of her carriage. Suga hurriedly climbed into the front, he whipped at the horses and they were off.

Just like that, the young woman was on her way home, leaving the handsome prince standing at the doorway, hoping she returns the following day.
