Four days later Janice slowly opens her eyes but couldn't move or speak. Was it all a dream? Did she imagine lying in bed and seeing a handsome Indian man rocking a baby in his arms? Where was she? Why could she move? Did Leon beat her again? Did he tie her to the bed again? He did once when she threaten to run away. Why couldn't she get away from this man?

Why did Leon keep hurting her like this? But that Indian guy was he really a dream? She remembers seeing him in a white doctor's coat. Was she in the hospital? Was he a doctor here? Oh God she must have seen him when they brought her in and then began fantasizing about him to escape from her horrible reality.

But it was so real, she remembered being with him sexually and it felt nothing like being with Leon. It was the best sexual experience she has ever had since breaking her virginity with Leon. She remembered how gently he touched her, how alive she felt in his arms, how her body reacted to him.

She remembers a wedding, her wedding, she was wearing a beautiful white wedding gown and she was pregnant and that same Indian man was her husband all that loves; him singing to her, his tenderness towards her. It was all in her head.

God how could that be, it was so real, so real she could literally feel her baby kick in her stomach, his baby or was it because she also remember giving birth to a baby girl, Leon's baby, oh so that was why she was lying down and couldn't move, she just had Leon's baby and there was something wrong with her. The child the Indian man had in his arms was her child, Leon's child.

So the visions she had about being pregnant and that Indian man was always massaging her stomach and singing to the baby inside her and referring to him as his son, that was dream.

So the only real thing was that she had a child and now she needed to find a way to get the hell out of here and away from Leon before he comes back and take her child away. That monster, that horrible monster, how she wish she had never met him.

She tried to move but her limbs felt heavy, she tried to speak but no words came. She then tried to move her head to shift the oxygen mask that was over her face but it wouldn't budge. "Hmm....hmm." Why couldn't she speak? And why did she feel s though she was covered in wet sand? What the hell did that monster do to her?"

The nurse came in to examine her and squeals in delight as she saw Janice's movements. "Dr. Jackson! Dr. Jackson wake up! She's awake; your wife's is awake!" Wait wife? Her wedding? Shit her wedding, she was married to him. Dr. Jackson, the Indian doctor, he was her husband, so it wasn't a dream? But where was Leon, damn she was so confused.

His head bolt upright and his eyes locked on hers. "Get her doctor now." He said to the nurse and she ran from the room. " Hi kitten, oh thank you Lord for bringing her back to us. Shh don't try to talk, it's alright, you're going to be fine kitten." He said softly.

"It was him, her Indian prince, it wasn't a dream, it was real, it was all real but what was wrong with her? Why couldn't she move?

"It's so wonderful to see your beautiful brown eyes again kitten, I love you so much." He keeps whispering to her. "Oh thank God." She breathes with relief. "Let me examine you." She said standing next to the guy who couldn't stop touching her. He then whispers to her that he would be right back then run from the room.

A few minutes later he runs back in. "How's she?" He asks eagerly. "She's a little disoriented but she'll be fine in a few days. She'll still be monitored round the clock so don't worry. I'll check back in little while." The doctor said making a note on her pad before turning to leave. "Welcome back Janice." She said warmly before leaving.

Ty sat beside her and played with her plaits. Her smile was weak s she slowly reached over and touch his arms as the purest expression of love she had ever seen shown in his brown eyes.

She swallowed hard, trying to reduced the sandy roughness that was still in her throat. "Wa...pl." She whispers. "Oh shit water, right, sorry, of course you need water." He said grabbing a bottle from the table and putting it at her mouth and telling her to take small sips.

After a few sips she cleared her throat and tried again but her voice was barely hoarse whisper. "Wha...hap...to ...me?" She stuttered out. "There was a complication after you had our son." He said still massaging her fingers. "Ou....son?" she ask confused. "Le....chil?" she ask.

"No, not Leon's child, our son Tyrique." He said.

"I...had...a....chil...Le....ons....child." She said. "Yes you had a child for Leon, Faith, my mom is on the way with her right now." He said. "Wher...e's Leon?" She ask in panic, tears running down her cheeks.

"Hey shh it's okay, you're a bit confused right now but you'll be fine, look at me, you're safe. Just take a deep breath and relax." She did and he smiles. "Alright, now do you know who I am?" "My...hus...band." "Yes I am, do you know my name?" "Ty....Ty...."

"Shh, Tyler and I love you very much, now relax breathe and let me fill you in on a few things." He said softly. "Leon is dead, I'll fill you in on how later, he'll never hurt you again. You're now my wife, Faith is now our daughter and you gave birth to our son Tyrique four weeks and four days ago." He pause and gave her a little more water then continues.

"There was a complication after you gave birth and you've been unconscious ever since. It's now three thirty in the morning of the fifth day and I'm so happy and grateful that you're awake." "Where's...my...son?" she ask her voice so low he could hardly hear her.

"He was born premature like his dad so he's now in the NICU but he's a lot stronger than he was a few days ago and you'll be able to see him soon." He said kissing her cheek.

"So none of it was a dream, it was all real, this handsome man was really her husband, she had a son and a daughter and the horrible monster was dead, thank God for that.

The following day he was showing her a video of her son in the NICU when she looks him straight in the eyes. "What?" He asks taken back by her intense look. "What are you not telling me?" she asks. "What do you mean?" "You're keeping something from me." She states. "Kitten...I ..." "Tell me please, I need to know, please don't keep secrets from me." She pleads.

"I just didn't want to alarm you or anything, I was waiting until you were stronger." He said looking away from her. "Baby, look at me, what is it?" She asks. "Kitten...." "It can't be that bad, can it baby?" She asks. "It is kitten." He said sadly.

"Tell me." She said squeezing his hand. "After they preformed the C Section you...um...you flat lined for about five minutes, you had no pulse...and I thought I had lost....you." He said taking a deep shaky breath.

"I died?" She asks her eyes wide. "For a few minutes yes." He said nodding his head. "But then God brought you back to us and I'm so grateful for his mercy towards us." He said and she could see tears in his eyes. "I'm grateful to be back." She smiles and hugs him. "I love you Ty." "I love you too my sweet kitten."
