Chapter seven changes

Meet Caleb

It was eight pm when I pull into the driveway, entering the house I put my medical bag on the sofa and went upstairs expecting to find Kayla either asleep or relaxing in the hot tub like she usually do and of course I was never welcome to join. As soon as I opened the bedroom door she jumped from the bed and run over to me, she then put her arms around my neck and kisses me passionately rendering me speechless.

Of all the things I had pictured my fiancée doing this was not one of them, I slip my arms around her waist and pulls her closer to me pressing my body against hers. She was wearing a white lace lingerie which hugged her curves perfectly. I respond hungrily to her kiss as heat rushed through my body.

"Hi sexy." She moaned resting her head on my chest. "Hi...hi there yourself." I said slightly out of breath. "Did I forget our anniversary or something?" I ask biting my lips. "No, I just thought I would do something special for my fiancé that's all, so have you eaten yet?" She asks.

"No...not yet." I answer still a little puzzled because that's not a question she usually ask me. "Okay you go takes a quick shower and I'll have dinner ready when you're finish." "Dinner?" I asks again even more puzzled than before. "Don't worry I didn't cook, it's Chinese, now go." She said laughing.

"Alright-I'll-be right-back." I said eyeing her suspiciously as I pull my buttons and walk slowly towards the bathroom. It was then that I realized that there was love songs playing and that the room was only lighted by candles.

I mean what the what? Am I even in the right house? I wonder. A smile crease the corner of my mouth as I step into the bath, my fiancée was certainly full of surprises sometimes.

There were two trays of food on the bed when I walk back into the bedroom. I sat down and Kayla place one of the tray on my lap then sat beside me. "So how was your day?" She asks. Now if that kiss didn't leave me speechless, that question did because she has never asked me about my day before.

I didn't know what had brought on this change in her but I really loved it. "My day? Well it was very hectic but it was also very rewarding, how was yours?" I ask. "Okay, I went shopping." She giggles as I ran my hand along her thigh. "You know something baby, I'm positively starving right now but it's not for this food in my hands." I said in a seductive tone while running my tongue over my lips.

"Really?' She asks seductively, she then took the tray from me and set it on the computer table. "Well fortunately for you my hot body fiancé, tonight is your lucky night." She moaned pulling my robe and pushing me on my back, she then came over me, positioning herself on top my fully erected shaft and began moving erotically.

I grip her waist and moved in rhythm with her, after a while I put her beneath me and she open her legs to welcome me, locking my fingers through hers I captured her lips with mine and moaned deep in my throat.

"Now this is the Kayla I know and love." I whisper in her ears. "I miss you girl, I love you so much and I can't wait to make you my wife." I said against her lips.

So much for canceling our wedding. She thought to herself with a proud smile as she continues to kiss him passionately.

"I love you too Ty and I can't wait to become Mrs. Kayla Jackson." Burying his face in her neck he rode the waves of ecstasy with his beautiful fiancée.

Later they lay in each other arms. "Are you alright baby?" I asks in concern squeezing her tightly against me. "I'm okay and just in case you're wondering, our baby is okay too." "That's good to hear, thank you, you've no idea how much I needed that, I haven't gotten a performance like that from you in a very long time." I whisper massaging her stomach. "Well I think it's time for a change don't you?"

"Oh absolutely." I said as she got up and sat over me again. "Um.... Baby, I know I haven't been acting like myself since I lost our baby but I'm trying to change and I would like to apologize for a few things." She said running her fingers along my cheek. "I'm sorry for the way I've been acting and for the way I've treated you and Miss. Alice, could you please forgive me?" She asks with a pout. "Already have, but you still need to apologize to Miss Alice." "I already did, I spoke to her this evening when I came home."

Taking her hands in mine I squeeze them gently. "I'm very happy that you're trying to change because for a moment there I could feel you slipping away from me and it scared the hell out of me, because to be honest, I really don't see myself living without you."

"Come on Ty, you don't mean that." "I'm dead serious Kayla, I mean yeah life can change in an instant but I really don't know what I would do if I lost you." "You love me that much?" "And then some." I smiles kissing her again. "In that case I'm going to try very hard to be the wife that you deserve." "I would really appreciate that." I laugh massaging her waist again. "So my sweet beautiful wife to be, can I have some more?" "But of course." She said without hesitation.

I was on my way home the following night when I got a call from my father asking me to meet him in Manor Park which I did. My father then led me to a big Beige color house with a big white gate.

He told me to tour the house and then tell him what I thought about it, so I did. The house consists of three bedrooms plus a master bedroom, emphasis on master, with a balcony view, four and a half bathrooms, a study, a gym, living and dining room big enough to hold a large amount of people not to mention a massive kitchen, it also had a helpers quarters, wash room and a garage big enough for three cars.

I was totally in love with the house and I told my dad so, then almost had a heart attack when my dad told me that it was a wedding present for Kayla and I. My dad then let me promise not to tell Kayla anything about the house until we returned from our honeymoon.

We were walking towards our vehicles when I stop, totally mesmerized by the architectural carvings around the pool. "I had a feeling you would appreciate that, I know how much you enjoys swimming and wait until you see the design on the bottom." He said with a smile.

I run over to it and stare down into the clear water as my dad turn on the lights flooding the pool with beautiful blue light and can I just say, wow.

"This's one beautiful pool." I sigh in awe. "Well you deserve it son, by the way, what's with the goofy grin on your face tonight? Does it mean that things are better at home?" Dad asks. "You could say that." "So does that means that the wedding is back on?" "Oh yeah." I answered with a wide smile.

"Great, then this present came just in time; I told you everything would work out." Dad said patting me on the shoulder. "And you were right, as usual." I said hugging him.

The next two weeks I walked around with a smile that my friends said was permanently glued to my face. When Kayla had told me that she was trying to change, she wasn't kidding and even though she still couldn't cook to save her life she made sure my dinner or breakfast, depending on my shift was hot and ready for me when I got home.

She would then give me a massage after we take a bath together, yes together, remember I wasn't allowed to join before, well now she was the one joining me, yes!!! And then we would make love before I took my rest.

She still went out sometimes during the days to help her friends with one thing or the other or to buy things she needed for the wedding or to work on the surprise she keeps talking about, pity she had no idea that I had a surprise of my own for her. Damn, keeping this secret from her was hard work, for real.

But what had also changed was that now when she wasn't around me she would send me sexy messages and photos of herself wearing skimpy little outfits which only made my smile brighter. Our wedding was three weeks away and I couldn't wait.
