Kayla massages her stomach as she leaves the kitchen. She sighs heavily as she realized how close she was to her due date. She was now five months pregnant and that means she only had four months left and at this moment she was now seventy percent sure that Tyler might not be the father of the child she was carrying and she knew that it was going to hurt him a lot if it turns out that he wasn't the father.

She knew how much he wanted a child and she was really hoping that he was the father because if he wasn't he might be so hurt that she might lose him for good.

She was really going to have to use all her charms to earn his forgiveness if that happened because losing a man this rich wasn't an option for her. She had spend half of her life watching her mother struggled each day to put food on the table for her after her father died, then came her two younger twin sisters and life got even harder when their father walk out on her mother. Her mom now had three children to feed and no father and then and there she had made a vow that her life would be different.

For one; she wasn't going to be working herself half to death like her mother. She was going to use her looks and her body to get what she wanted and she had put her plan in action at the age of fifteen.

It had worked perfectly and as she got older she become a lot better at it and now that she was twenty six there wasn't a man she couldn't get, married or not. But in her eyes meeting Tyler was like hitting the jackpot.

She was about to go up stairs when her door bell rang and the first name that popped into her mind was Tyler; he had told her that he wasn't coming back to this house but maybe he had changed his mind.

But it wasn't Tyler she saw when she opened the door but she forced a smile anyway to hide her disappointment. "Brandon? What are you doing here? I told you not to come here anymore." She said blocking his path as he tried to pass her but he just sucked his teeth and pushed her aside.

"You still deh pon dat foolishness. Listen my girl I'm the one who pays the rent and all the bills in dis place and if your landlord have a problem wid me coming here tell him fi come chat to me; get dat." Brandon state angrily.

"Alright, alright; so what brings you by?' She asks tiredly. "Do I need a reason to come look for my baby mother?" "No, it's just that I haven't seen you in a while.' She pouts.

"So me neva tell you sey me deh a Mobay a do some business. How you expect me fi find forty five grand every month, pay all your bills and give you money for the baby and fi go shopping and do your hair and nails if I don't works, a wa wrong wid you my girl?"

Without waiting for an answer Brandon got up went to the kitchen and getting a plate he put a few pieces of the KFC he had brought with him on it and sat in front of the T.V patting the seat beside him indicating to her to sit down and when she did he gave her an envelope.

"Dat is this month rent and bills and ten grand extra for you." Kayla's expression and attitude changed immediately as she count the money with a wide smile. "Thank you baby." She said kissing him on his cheek. "Hey me have a feeling sey a like your landlord like you off why him no want me to come here, but him can gwaan run off him mouth because I'm planning to move in as soon as you give birth." "No baby you can't." She said in panic.

"Easy yourself my girl, we'll talk more bout dat later; a long time now me no see my woman and we have a whole lot a catching up to do as soon as I done eat this so just relax seen." He said putting another piece of chicken in his mouth. "And by the way I'm going to need your car tomorrow. I've some business to take care of in Portland alright." "Okay." She whispers leaning against his chest.
