The writers hands have no shame
They murder every day
They break apart relationships
And laugh at their dismay
-
They cry for their own beloveds
Created by their dearest hearts
Misunderstood are the author’s words
“Taken for granted, they should.”
-
A look of worry. A look of doubt
The writer leaves trails of black
As their DNA through every touch
Their words etched in black
-
Lead or pen
May it be font
However, regardless the essential
-
Condemned shall we be
When our stories end
Because starting anew story
Is the start of the next crime scene.
