"Mama, you funny." Arezo giggles as she wipes off the fluffy flour off of my cheek. I giggle back at her and spread some on her cheek. "Now you're funny." I giggle. She laughs, showing me her beautiful white pearls that she attempts to cover with her hand. She wipes off the flower and I do too.

"Careful." I warn when Arezo reaches for the whisk to beat the eggs together as she sits on the counter. I help her and she slowly moved her hand in a circular motion and mixes the eggs together.

"Bwownies weady?" Arezo asks when I put them inside the oven. She places her hands on the oven before I can tell her not to. "I Okay." She says rubbing her hands together. I smile at her delightfully, "in fifteen minutes."

She shrugs at me, "Aezo go pway then." She says running away out of the kitchen, her dark curls bouncing up and down as she does. I giggle and take a seat in the table, getting on my phone and going into Snapchat.

"Negina Hassan Finally Found? True or False?"

I stare at my phone, confused and deep inside afraid. How could the media have found me. I moved here, to this small town that no one has barely hear of, to save my son and daughter from all the commotion and rumors. I curse myself for messing up and ruining my children's life's.

I quickly tap on the Snapchat story. Waiting for it to load for a few seconds, I frown as it finishes loading. It's a picture of me and Arezo, at the super market. "Negina Hassan or is it a look-alike?" I read.

I hear the door open and slam shut. I stand up from the chair to go see who it was, but I already know that it's gotta be either Naser or Saiid.

My instincts weren't wrong. It's my sixteen year old son.

"Saiid?" I ask entering the hallway that leads to the main entrance door. I frown upon seeing my son angrily coming towards me with his sister in his arms. "Salam?" I greet, asking why he's mad.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He grits through his teeth.

I bite my lip, "tell you what?"

He laughs in my face bitterly, "Why didn't you tell me, mother?" He slams his hand against the wall, causing me to flinch and take a step back.

"Saiid your scaring me, what did I not tell you?" I ask.

"Mother, Why didn't you tell me that you fucked Khalid Malik? I never thought of you like that Mom. I never knew my own mother was a slut." He laughs, evilly. His laugh darkens and my fear level increases. Is he going crazy? Am I going crazy?

I wake up in a sweat, breathing heavily. I look at the clock, 5:38 AM. I run my eyes together before standing up to go to the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee, to keep me awake.

I lean against the cold counter as I wait for the water to boil. I wrap the open sweater tighter around myself and cover my body, staring off into the dark night through the window.

"Mori?"

My head snaps towards the tall figure walking into the kitchen, switching on the light. "Are you okay Mori?" Saiid asks walking closer to me. One look into his hazel eyes and all I can do is slowly fall into the bar stool and start to cry. He walks over to where I am and wraps his arm around me in a hug, "You okay Mom?"

I sniff back and wipe the tears off my face with my palms. "Yeah, I'm fine. Go back to sleep." I suggest.

He looks up into my eyes, "I can't leave you crying here. Your my mom, I've gotta take care of you."
