Chapter eleven: "Sediq"

Waking up in the same bed as the previous night Negina wonders into the bathroom to take a short shower. Putting on her black leggings with a black loose teeshirt. Feeling exposed and cold she trudges on her cream open sweater.

Wrapping her arms around herself, Negina finds her way downstairs, following the smell of breakfast in the kitchen.

"Morning khala," Negina greets and gets a reply similar to her own.

"Hi," Negina fist bumps Mansoor.

"You two have sure been getting along," Khalid acknowledges entering the kitchen.

"The legend is true," Negina says smiling.

"What legend?" Khalid asks curiously.

"A brother-in-law is always a girls best friend."

"I've heard a similar legend. That a sister-in-law is her brother-in-laws second wife." Mansoor smiles pouring some milk in his cereal. Khalid stares, enviously.

"About that ice cream date," Negina wiggles her brows at Khalid then pointing out the window. "It's raining outside."

"Then I guess we'll just have to go to an indoor ice cream place." Khalid smirks.

"Yeah then you'll have to stay indoors all day tomorrow because you'll be sick." Negina smirks back.

"No we won't," Khalid extends his hand for Negina to take. Unsurely, she does but regrets it when they walk outside together running towards the car in the rain.

"I hate you, Khalid!" Negina yells at him as soon as they're inside the leather seated car. Pulling off his hood Khalid smiles at her. "I love you too, boo boo!"

Negina grumbles a little and Khalid nudges her. "Come on, you gotta admit it was fun."

Negina's frown turns into a smug smile, "I guess."

Khalid's radio turns up louder and they listen to it ever so often one of them humming along to the tunes.

They soon arrive at a small building with an ice cream logo at the top of it. "Here?" Negina asks unbuckling her seatbelt. Khalid nods in response as he reaches to his pocket to make sure he has his wallet.

The rain had stopped, making it much easier for the two to walk into the ice cream cafe. Even well enough for the two to take a picture.

Going up to the lady Khalid orders himself a rocky road ice cream while Negina goes with a plain mint chocolate chip.

Taking a seat they look around, but no one else was stupid enough to get ice cream in this damp weather.

They sit there for god knows how long joking and laughing. Eventually Negina pulls out her phone smiling at her Instagram live.

"Hey!" Khalid smiles pulling his arm over Negina. Instantly at that gesture Negina's followers get anxious. Comments continuously flood Negina's live video.
