Song: Million years ago by Adele

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

' I only wanted to have fun, learning to fly, learning to run. I let my heart decide the way when I was young. '

Ashley walks down the streets of Gotham looking around, her hands stuffed into her pockets. Her gaze settles on two kids playing on the sidewalk. Images flash threw her mind of her past. Icicle Jr. and Ashley run to the van with the money and climb in laughing as they made their escape.

' Deep down I must have always known that this would be inevitable. To earn my stripes I'd have to pay and bear my soul.I know I'm not the only one who regrets the things they've done '

A look of pain crosses Ashley's face as she remembers all the pain she's caused. Angrily she looks down, kicking a rock.

' Sometimes I just feel it's only me who can't stand the reflection that they see '

A heavy breathing Ash grips the sink looking at her shooken reflection before screaming and punching the mirror before cursing. Ash blinks and once again she's on the streets of Gotham.  A silent tear rolls down her face only to be masked by the rain.

' I wish I could live a little more. Look up to the sky, not just the floor. I feel like my life is flashing by and all I can do is watch and cry.  I miss the air, I miss my friends. I miss my mother, I miss it when life was a party to be thrown. But that was a million years ago. '

A faded memory of a younger Ashley laughing with Annabeth crosses through her mind. A small smile works its way onto her face.

' When I walk around all of the streets, where I grew up and found my feet, they can't look me in the eye. It's like they're scared of me. I try to think of things to say. Like a joke or a memory, but they don't recognize me now in the light of day. '

Ashley is seen fighting a mugger. Her katana (a/n: Not her celestial bronze sword.) slices through his shoulder.

'I know I'm not the only one who regrets the things they've done. Sometimes I just feel it's only me who never became who they thought they'd be. I wish I could live a little more. Look up to the sky, not just the floor. I feel like my life is flashing by and all I can do is watch and cry. I miss the air; I miss my friends. I miss my mother, I miss it when life was a party to be thrown. But that was a million years ago. A million years ago. '
