Chapter 8

Zila
  I wiped the sweat from my forehead as I see some of the houses look brand new with the fresh coat of paint.

"How's it looking Alpha?" Brandon my Gamma asked

"Brandon what did I tell you, just call Zila, but anyway it's looking like a pack that's strong, independent and care for each other." I said as I looked up at him since he was taller then me.

"Why don't you go work on your room? I don't think anyone will mind you actually done most of the work here" Brandon said as I let out sigh

"I know, but I also just want to make sure" I said

"Why don't I help you" Brandon said as I just let it a laugh and nodded my head

"Yeah I would appreciate that Brandon" I said as I headed up to my room seeing as it was empty expect for the things on my parents.

"Thank you Chris for doing as I asked" I said through mind link

"Your welcome Zila, just work on your room for now. I saw Brandon go up with you, you sure your going to be okay up there with him?" Chris asked

"Why wouldn't I?" I asked through mind link

"Because he has a crush on you, just making sure he's not gonna tough you" Chris said as I began to laugh.

"Thanks for worrying Chris but I'll be okay" I said
  I ended the mind link and turn to Brandon with a smirk on my face, he looked at me with a scared look on his face.

"What? Did some one tell you something?" Brandon asked

"You could say that" as I began to paint on the wall making Brandon almost fall over with the paint

"Who? And what did they tell you?" Brandon asked freaking out

"Calm down I already know you have a crush on me" I said catching him off guard

"Wait! What...n-no I don't" Brandon said as I just shook my head and laugh. After finishing painting I made my way downstairs with the pictures of my mom and dad.
  I set them on the new table and grab the picture frames

"Brandon you can sit down" I said as he let out a nervous laugh sitting down next to me.

"I'm actually glad he had these" I said as Brandon turned to me shocked

"Why? That basically means he was stocking you" Brandon said

"I know that, I know that to well, but when he had the rouge's come in they burn down my parents house that had all pictures of me and my parents. I never would thought I would I have been able to get these back. I thought they were gone forever" I said as I set some of the pictures aside.
  After getting all of the pictures in a picture frame I handed some to Brandon to help carrying them back to my room.
  I started to hang them up feeling at home with them hung up

"It looks good, it looks like you've been Alpha the whole time" Brandon said as I smiled looking at the pictures

"Yeah I'm glad" I said as Brandon walked over to one of the pictures pointing at someone

"Who's this?" Brandon asked, I walked over and looked at a boy with same color hair and eyes as me

"That's my big brother, his name was Alexander, but we always called him Alex" I said as I smiled and looked at him.

"Wait! Was?" Brandon asked questionly

"Yeah my parents said he passed away at the age of eight" I said as Brandon looked at me with a sad look

"Oh come don't look at me that way, let's go see how the pack is doing" I said as I headed outside seeing everything put into place.

"Wow!" I said as they turned and bowed their heads

"No please don't bow your head's, you had as much to do with this then I did. You all should be congralating yourselves and celebrating" I said as they gave me a smile.

"Go ahead have fun I don't care, we will start training tomorrow" I said as everyone cheered and started to laugh and talk to everyone.
  I see elderly woman walk towards me

"It's good to see Zila" she said as I looked closer at her

"It's good to see you to Gma" I said as I hug her smelling Mom's scent on her making me feel content

"I'm so proud of you, I'm so happy that you took over this pack. I know for sure you will train them to be the pack you want" Gma said as I sat down next to her leaning my head on her shoulder.

"I miss them Gma" I said

"I know my dear, but listen I know for sure your mother and father would be very proud of you so would your brother" Gma said as I smiled.

"Can you tell me about Alex?" I asked

"Of course dear. He was always over protective of you and he..."Gma was about to say when I see Chris walk up to me.

"I'm sorry interrupt, but someone is on the phone for you" Chris said, I nodded my head and grab Gma's hand

"I'll be right back Gma" I said as she gave me a sweet smile. I walk up to my office and pick up the phone and answering it

"Can I help you?" I asked

"Yes you can I'm looking for the Alpha" they said

"Your talking to her" I said as I sit down on my chair

"May we have meeting about uniting packs with each other?" They asked

"I need a name first before I agree to this" I said

"Alpha Alex" they said

"I will agree to this, but I swear if you try anything funny with my pack you'll regret it" I said

"Very well how about tomorrow" they said

"That's fine, be here around ten if your not here I'm not having the meeting" I said
  I hung up the phone and turn to Chris

"We're having a meeting with Alpha Alex, so tomorrow meet me in the meeting room by nine please" I said as he nodded his head as I headed outside to Gma.
