Chapter 31

Chapter 31: That Lawn.

"Can I come in?" Zayn knocked on Angelina's closed door.

But before he could open it, Cheryl opened the door from the other side.

"Uh, hi." Zayn said.

"Come in." Cheryl said, stepping aside for him to enter.

"Zayn!" Angelina said, when he came into view.

Zayn smiled that lazy smile, and nodded at her.

He wasn't one for showing affection.

And Angelina knew that. So, she nodded back at him and just like that, their greeting was done.

"Did you meet Sonny?" She asked him.

"Uh, Yeah. I mean, I did see her." He replied.

Harry did introduce her to him, but he didn't know how to react.

"Oh god. And I'm sure you didn't say anything." Angelina predicted.

Zayn shrugged. It was true. He didn't say anything.

"Come on then. Have any idea, where she is?"

He shook his head.

"Alright. Let's go." Angelina said.

"I'll be in my room." Cheryl told Angelina, in case she needed help or something.

Angelina smiled gratefully and proceeded to exit the room in search of Sonny with Zayn on her heels.

"Knock knock." Harry said, for what felt like the hundredth time.

"Who's there..." Sonny asked, bored.
Niall found that very funny.

"The cow goes!" Harry said, getting excited.

"The cows goes moo." Sonny said, because well, it was obvious.

Niall's eyes widened at that and he turned to look at Harry who was frowning like a kid who's Mom denied to buy a chocolate for him.

"No! You spoilt the joke!" Harry exclaimed, making firm motions with his hands.

"Wow, okay. Sorry, I guess?" She asked.

What was the big deal?

"It's alright." Harry said, dejected.

And then, all of a sudden, all the energy drained came back to him, and he said, "Wait! I got another one!"

"She's not here." Angelina stated, as they looked at every single place in the house.

"The lawn's left." Zayn pointed out.

First, he met her but didn't want to talk.
And now, he wants to meet her.

What is wrong with me?

He thought.

"Oh, right. Come on then." She said, walking outside.

"There they are!" She pointed.

Niall was standing, leaning against the wall, and Sonny and Harry were sat on the swings.

"But, why does she look bored?" Angelina wondered aloud.

That's when Sonny caught her eye and gave her a very pleading expression.
Angelina nodded when realisation hit her and she understood that Harry was cracking one of his jokes.
