Chapter 54

Jay was lying in bed waiting to hear from Nathan. It was 4 in the morning. He sent him another text with no response.

Two minutes later he finally got a reply.

Text from unknown: Hey Jay, this is Ariana. Nathan is a bit sick, but he is back at the hotel and....

Jay called before he could even read the rest of her message. "Hello."

"Hey, sorry about the late text but.."

"Where is he?" Jay asked with concern.

"He is resting in bed. Nano is standing watch by the bed."

Jay rolled his eyes. "Nano is watching him? Mind as well be a damn stranger."

Ariana giggled. "He means well."

"I want to talk to him." Jay said.

Ariana hesitated. "Well um...he's kinda sleeping and..."

"Please put him on the phone."

Ariana glanced over at Nathan sprawled out on the bed. "Jay, he is sleeping and..."

Jay sighed. "Just please make sure that someone is watching him."

Nathan mumbled into the pillow.

"Hang on." She said. "Nathan....are you alright."

"Is that Jay?" he said then reached his hand out for the cell phone. "Ariana?"

She handed Nathan the phone and headed out of the room.

"Biiird." Nathan said into the phone.

"How is my baby?"

Nathan groaned. "Awful. I drank too much, mate."

"Did you throw up?"

Nathan groaned. "Yes, but I feel a bit better now."

"Can you sleep in tomorrow?"

"Not really. We have Kelly and Michael tomorrow. Are you going to watch on you tube after?"

"Of course babe. Why don't you get some rest then?"

Nathan moaned. "No, I like hearing your voice. It is making me feel better.

Jay smiled. "Just for a bit. You need rest Nath."

"Nano, get out. I want to have phone sex with my boyfriend."

Nano's eyes widened and his face turned red.

Jay laughed. "Nate, stop that. He may have a heart attack."

Nathan managed to chuckle. "Well, it's a bit creepy mate. He is just sitting there watching me."

Nano crossed his arms and rolled his eyes.

"He is just looking out for you."

Nathan whined. "Bird, can you sing to me?"

"What?  It's 4 in the morning."

Nathan whined again. "Please, until I fall asleep?"

He had Jay wrapped around his little finger whether he knew it or not. Jay believed he knew it.

Jay sang softly to him.
