Hi my name is y/n and an interesting fact about me is I was adopted by the famous singer Patrick Stump. You know, the lead singer of fallout boy! Well I was in an orphanage for 3 years because my parents both died in a car accident when I was 4 years old. I'm now 17 years old and I'm a junior in high school. Here's the thing, I'm dating Shawn Mendes, the 'bad boy' of McKinley High. My father doesn't approve of him but the thing is, he's never met him, he's only heard about him. I told Shawn to come to my house so they could officially meet. I'm gonna be honest, I'm really nervous but it's going to be ok.

*Knock knock knock*
I hear from downstairs. I hurry down, and as I finally get to the front door I realize my father had already opened it. "Why are you at my house" he says glaring at Shawn. "Uh-well-I'm here for y/n" Shawn says stuttering a little. "What do you want with my little girl" he says getting protective. "Do you plan to break her heart" he says pointing at Shawn. "N-no sir, I love her, I wouldn't do that" he says nervously. My heart tugs at his words. "What's your name boy" he says. "S-Shawn Mendes sir" he says looking down. "Oh hell no, get out" he says getting defensive. "Dad! Stop being so rude" I say butting in. "Y/n do you not remember what Ben did to you" he says getting upset. "I know dad but Shawn is different. I love him" I say and I see Shawn smile at me from the corner of my eye. "You love him" he yells. "Yes so leave him alone. We are leaving" I say grabbing my jacket and walking to Shawn. "Fine I will give you a chance Mendes, but one slip up and you're done for. As soon as that door closes I'm gonna go grab a gun and I'll carve your name into it. I hope I don't have to put your name on the same one as Ben's" he saying glaring. Shawn's eyes grow wide and he shoots his head towards me silently asking if that's true. I just shake my head. "Leave him alone" I say. "Whatever get out before I change my mind". We run out to Shawn's car and get inside. Just to mess with my dad, Shawn leans over and kisses me. "I change my mind, get back in this house y/n" I hear him yell. We just laugh and wave at my dad as we pull out of the drive way. "That went ok" I say grabbing Shawn's hand. "It did, I just hope he was kidding about the gun" he says slowly. "Oh no Shawn, he wasn't kidding" I say seriously. "WHAT" he screams stopping the car. I throw my head back laughing. "I'm just kidding baby, it won't be a gun, just a knife" I say giggling. "Ha ha ha how funny" he says sarcastically. "I know, I know" I say kissing his cheek. He just smiles at me and continues the drive.
