Chapter Fifty Four

Samara's P.O.V.

I stood outside Mcdonalds waiting for Harris to show up. Punctuality was my thing.

5 minutes later he finally showed up.

"You took your time." I smirked.

"Uh it's only 9:05." He replied and shoved his watch in my face.

I rolled my eyes.

"I'm famished, let's eat." He groaned.

We both walked in to be greeted by the lush smell of the restaurant.

I sat down whilst Harris went to the counter to order.

A big Mac burger for me and an Italian Stack for him.

He sat down and placed the tray of food on the table and went to collect straws for the drinks.

I took a bite of my burger and licked my lips.

"This never fails me." I laughed as Harris took his seat opposite me.

"Nothing beats Mcdonalds." He said taking a bite of his burger too.

We quickly ate in silence enjoying every bite. I'd recommend this place to EVERYBODY.

The best of them all.

"Thanks for dinner." Harris smiling at me as we walked down the street together.

"I mean, you're the one who payed for it."

"Yeah, but, haven't had a good meal with someone close for a long time."

I smiled up at him and laughed.

"You're so cringy Harris!" I spat out, mocking him.

"And you're so mean." He snorted and speeded ahead of me.

"Oii, don't leave me." I shouted after him.

He didn't stop and instead began to run.

"Dickhead." I muttered under my breath.

I stopped trying to catch up with him and walked at my own pace.

He didn't even notice how far away he was from me until he finally looked behind and slowly came to a halt. He waited till I was near him and laughed.

"Endorphins, my happy drug" He smiled.

"You're crazy Harris, like literally." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Did you just realise?" He raised an eyebrow.

"I knew from day one." 

We continued walking till we stopped at my place.

"Here's your stop." He said and pointed at the house.

"Thanks, see you soon." And I walked up to my door.

"Bye Samara."

"Goodnight Harris, and go home carefully." 

He nodded and slowly walked off.

He was such a sweet guy.

Hamdan's P.O.V.

"Have they called yet?" Inayah asked me whilst filling up the kettle with water.

"Not yet." I replied and looked down at my phone.

For the past two days Inayah and I had been excited for the awaited news, Rumena was due to deliver and we were going to become new uncle and aunties. Imagine how fun it would be to have a cute baby crawling around the house and bringing more light into our family.

I looked at Inayah who was adding the sugar into our cuppas. 

"One for you, and one for me." She goes as she handed a cup to me and took a sip of hers.

My phone vibrated and I snatched it off the table. It must be Tauhid announcing the new arrival!

And surely it was, I put the call on loudspeaker.

"It's a baby boy!" Tauhid shouted through the phone, he was evidently very happy.

Inayah and I exchanged smiles.

"I'm an uncle now." I beamed.

"Yesss!" Inayah and Tauhid laughed in unison.

"We're coming now." I said and cut the line.

I opened the closet door and grabbed my jacket. Inayah was already opening the front door and I ran to catch up with her.

"I'm so excited!" Inayah cried and smiled up at me.

"Me too." I breathed and wrapped my arm around her.

We jumped into the car and soon enough we were in the hospital holding the baby and talking to the new parents. 

"Hey baby" Inayah cooed over the baby as she stroked his delicate face.

"Isn't he adorable?" She said looking up at me.

I smiled and nodded.

The room door opened and our parents and Samara burst in.

"Ohh he's absolutely gorgeous!" Samara cried.

Everyone stood around the baby adoring him and no one had thought of a name yet.

"What about Aidan?" I suggested.

"That's actually a great idea.." Rumena said with wide eyes.

"You like it?" Her husband asked her.

"Yeahh, what does everyone else think?"

They all nodded in agreement.

"Well, welcome to the world Aidan!" I said and took him in my arms.

OMFG. Nearly 3 months...
