I sat out in a clearing, looking up at the clouds. I wish better things were in my life, but does that really matter now? All I can do is sit alone and fend for myself. I looked at a hibiscus next to me, just to see that it bloomed and had a box with a eye necklace. Inside the box was a letter, which I carefully took out of the box.

I see that you have lost many things, but your sanity is not one of them. You are a part of us now, the holder of 13-9-13-9-3. It may sound strange, but you will see. I can teach you more once you arrive. There is a cabin a mile or two ahead. You will meet the others there.
