Things wrong with the Walking Dead fanfics

Everybody kinda assumes that rape is kicking, screaming, and forceful, right? But rape can be blackmail, too, and I think a lot of us forget that.

With that being said, a while ago I said how Negan doesn't rape women. Well, now I'm changing my mind and opinion on that. I'm not calling him some serial rapist or anything, and it's not like he just rapes whoever he wants - he does try and make sure his wives are happy - but that doesn't take away from the fact that he is a pretty horrible person.

The thing is, Negan does blackmail his wives. He tells them that if they're not his wife, then they have to work somewhere else and won't be able to afford the things they need. So, they basically need to have sex with him, otherwise why are they his wives?

It makes sense when you think about it.
