So many people just write their OC to be related to someone, but they don't make it realistic. Like, at all.
If you're Daryl or Merle's sister, then you wouldn't be some badass ninja warrior. You'd most likely be, a) a lot older than Carl's age (yeah, I've read the books, you're only Daryl's daughter for when you fall in love with Carl and Daryl gets protective) and b) you'd be broken and shut people out, like Daryl. You were abused, for God's sake.
I know people don't only write about Daryl and Merle's sister/ daughter/ cat, but that's the most common, and I'm done.
