Jason was in the passenger side of my car, driving down the road to the station.

We made sure everything we found last night was safely put away into my trunk...and man, was it going to be a bomb shell for some people.

we didn't know what to say to each other as we drove from the house, dropping off his cruiser, and so on and so forth.  It was just something we never would have expected...it was extremely unexpected.  But we knew now that we had our man. In more then just one case throughout the county.

The sick bastard.

"Let's go get your girl."  Jason said, stepping out onto the street.

"Yeah, and the the sneak."  We just nodded to each other and headed in.

Having Harper in my arms was a releaf, but seeing that she still wasn't rested, was not.  She fell into my embrace and held on so tight I thought she was going to fall over.

"Babe, Are you alright?"  I knew she could see the worry in my eyes, cause she just shook her head.  This was not the place to speak.

Jimmy came walking out with a slight grin on his face, watching our every move and headed straight out of the department.  Looking quite well rested, might I add.

"I need to talk to Jason."  Harper whispered in a harsh tone.

"Not now.  You need to sleep before we to to the court house.  At least for a couple hours.  Your babies are missing you."  And I knew they were.  Lilly had called me the moment she was up, telling me that Lucas was restless and worried.  The poor little man was going to have nightmares, I just knew it.  I couldn't wait to see the look on Jimmy's face when he see's that we got him.

We couldn't hook him on anything, but now we could.  He doesn't mess with my fam- wait...my family.  I was looking at Harper, and I saw my family...

"No."  She held onto my tighter.  "I need to tal-"

"I'm right here.  What do you need babe?"  She dug her nails into my arms and looked us both dead in the eye.

"You have video camera all around here right?"

"Well, yeah, it-"

"Good...I wouldn't have wanted to live through that for nothing."

Smiling she leaned into me again, loosening her grip.  Managing a sight she nearly slipped out of my arms.  I caught her and lifted her feet off the ground.  Once comfortable, she was fast asleep in my arms.

"What do you think she meant by that?"  I asked, scanning the room.  No one needed to hear our conversation.  And with our late night activities, for good reason.

Not having the time to go through everything yet, Jason didn't know who to fire and arrest.

"I'm not sure."  Jason scratched his head and then moved the hair away from Harper's face.  "But I guess this means I'm pulling last night's taps."
