Y/N'S POV:

I Shuddered as I heard another explosion. I hope they come back soon. Gohan left to fight the androids with his new student, Trunks. The kid is only about 14, and yet, he wants to be out there fighting those heartless creatures, I'll tell you one thing, after my first encounter with them, I'm never going anywhere near them again. Even if I used to be a black belt. No amount of Karate can beat those.. Those monsters.

I look through a crack, seeing the aftermath of the explosion. Wincing, I open my eyes again after they shut unexpectedly, I expected to see two people flying out, turns out I saw nothing at all. I hope they're okay.

Looking at the flames, I could almost hear the screams once again.

--Flashback--

"Run Y/N!!!" My best friend screeched, running directly behind me. I sprinted through the rubble, trying to stay as quiet as possible. Those two evil murderers we'd heard about on the news attacked our home town. Almost everywhere you look consists of dead bodies, flames, and hopeless people who were unfortunate enough to get stuck underneath rubble to heavy to lift.

The two of us ran as adrenaline rushed through our veins. Our footsteps were heavy on the broken road. We both flinched as screams of dispair were heard from down our once peaceful street. I let out a shaky breath as I looked down, holding my knees, my body slightly bent forward for a break. I breathed heavily as we gathered ourselves to continue running.

"Ahhhh!!!"

Another scream could be heard from a closer distance, which meant the two villains were closing in on our location. Continuing to run, I felt chills down my spine as a deafening screech was heard once more. It feels as if their killing spree isn't slowing down any time soon.

We had run like our lives depended on it, because at this moment, they did.

We stopped in our tracks as a buliding collapsed in front of us, blocking our path. My heart rate increased, I didn't know that was possible. We could hear footsteps inching towards us and fear grew increasingly by the second.
