Imagine: Castiel left. He wanted to protect you. After months of being alone and missing him, you find him. He was just as heart broken as you. He wanted to make things right.
You: "Castiel? What the hell happened to you? I've been looking for you for months. All you left was a note that said 'I need to do this for you'"
Castiel: "hello (y/n). I'm sorry for abandoning you and hurting you."
You: "I prayed to you every night. I called and texted."
Castiel: "yes I am aware. I received it all. I just had to protect you. I had to leave. I wasn't good for you."
You: "since when do you get to decide what's good for me? It's my life I think I can decide what is good and what's not."
