"We travel a lot, so Derek persuaded the head office to give us our own jet." Axel interrupted

"He gets everything he wants, doesn't he." I mocked my uncle as we all turned to face him. In which he was now shaking hands with the pilot and copilot.

"He deserves it..." Tyler sat down as she handed Vicky a coffee.

Walking up towards the drink section, I eyed it and reached for the vodka.

"Alex, don't even think about it!" Derek hollered from the other side of the plane.

"HOW did you even see that?" I laughed and grabbed it anyways.

"You have guilty written all over your face!" Mills laughed

"You're not drinking before the funeral!" He got up and walked towards me as everyone watched us bicker.

"The funeral is at 7pm tonight! It's currently 11am... I will sober up by then." I winked and quickly poured a bit into a glass and topped it off with cola.

He grabbed the glass and downed the drink.

"You're such an alcoholic." I rolled my eyes and pushed past him and made my way back towards my seat in the middle of everyone who was now laughing at us.

"Ladies and gentlemen we will be setting off in 5 minutes so place your belts on until the sign turns off, and enjoy the ride." The pilot announced over the speaker as the plane turned on. As everyone buckled in I quickly got up and ran to the back of the plane. Checking all the doors and other units of the plane I ran to the front and did the same routine.

"Alex, what are you doing" Jay questioned

"Don't worry about it." Finishing off the routine I went back to my seat and buckled up. I could tell everyone was looking at me confused but I ignored the looks and placed my headphones in my ears and closed my eyes.

Flashback.

"Alexandra, you know the plan right?" Mack asked as I buckled down into the aircraft.

"Yes! Once I get there I find agent Daniel Kuri and he will brief me on the mission." I repeated back annoyed as a moody 14 year old.

"Don't worry about it, you're going to be fine. The target has already been captivated, you just have to go there and break him."

"Why did they choose me though." I huffed at Mack

"Because you're the best agent out there who can get this done quickly and brutally." I heard a familiar voice speak through my headset.

"Daddy." I smiled

"Hey baby girl, we are so proud of you." I could feel him smiling through his voice.

"Thanks daddy, where is mom? Is she okay?"

"I'm here baby." She responded as I could hear her place on the headset.

"Hey mom, I miss you both so much!"

"As soon as your mission is over we will be waiting for you here on base."

"Get it done quick so we can finish off that game of scrabble."

"You know I always beat you both on scrabble."

"I would like to see you put your money where your mouth is." Brennon joined in, causing us all to laugh.

"Be safe, and do us proud baby girl." My mom spoke gently.

"See you soon, and watch your back." My dad finished off.
