(Kasumi's POV)

Darkness.

No feelings.

No Naruto.

I wasn't awake, but I wasn't asleep either. I guess you could call my predicament 'suspended animation'. That is the only way to describe it. My five senses were nullified, I could be dead for all I know. All I know is that I don't know how to wake up from this nightmare and I don't even know if I actually can.

[Time skip cuz you can't really do anything in suspended animation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯]

(Naruto's POV)

After beating Kabuto's sorry ass into a pulp, I was able to grab the scroll from his pocket.

Okay, I would've really liked if that happened but it didn't. Grandma Tsunade kicked butt even though she's so old. She was the one who got the scroll, but who needs to know.

"Naruto, come back over here, I'm not done with the healing process." Grandma Tsunade ordered.

I can't really say no to her after I saw the way she fought. I'll probably forget about it later though.

I plopped down next to her kneeling form and laid on my back. I put my hands behind my head, using them as a makeshift pillow. The warm feeling that made its way around my chest let me know Grandma Tsunade started yet again. Pervy-Sage was complaining about how long we were taking. To be honest, I was quite annoyed at how long it was taking to get ready to go back to the village. The sooner we get back, the sooner we'll be able to release Kasumi.

"Okay, okay! Enough! Let's go back!" I shot up, pushing her hands away.

I jumped to my feet and began to run towards the closest town with a pep in my step. I heard no arguments or objections from anyone so I continued to follow the road. As they say, all roads lead to Konoha!

(Tsunade's POV)

My fingers ran over the scroll that was placed in my pocket. I didn't expect something like this to happen at all. I hadn't known her long but anyone could tell that Naruto and her were very close to each other. You could say that the vibe that Kasumi gives off is the same as an angry wolf, or even a mother bear protecting its cub. Naruto was her cub. It was almost an amusing topic if you really thought about it.

I began to wrack my brain for any ideas on how to get the seal on the scroll destroyed, not the scroll itself. It would be all over if the scroll were to be destroyed. I know I wouldn't be able to break the seal on my own so I am planning on asking Shikaku Nara if he knew anything. The Nara clan are the smartest people I know as of right now.

I was pulled from my subconscious when Jiraiya began to shout at Naruto. It seems that we were closing in on the village so Naruto had picked up his pace considerably. I do hope he knows that he doesn't have the scroll with him. Maybe I'll walk really slow to torture him for a bit.

(Jiraiya's POV) [wow, so may POV's]

"Naruto, slow down! You're going to run into someone if you don't watch where you're going!" I bellowed at the troublesome boy.

As I saw the village gates between the dense foliage, I slowed down to a walk. Tsunade seemed to have the same idea. Shizune, being her attendant, followed right after Tsunade.

"Pervy-Sage! Grandma Tsunade! Shizune-san! Hurry up! The sooner we get to the village, the sooner Kasumi will be back, dattebayo!" he shouted right back at us.

This kid needs to learn how to relax. I haven't even thought of a single plan on how to get Kasumi free again. I'll leave the thinking to Tsunade.
