(woah, the twenties! I didn't think I would make it this far 😀)

(P.s.- I'm going to Alaska for a week and I don't know if I will have Internet so I may or may not post another chapter)

《☆☆☆》

Lightly dozing on Sasuke's roof, I snapped up at the sound of the door hinges squeaking. Sasuke was walking out, already dressed for training. It's really shocking how a few weeks can change someone. Sasuke had longer hair, had grown taller and had built some muscle. His face changed the most though. He looked like he would never be happy again. His face was like a wall, flat and emotionless. That kind of pulled at my heartstrings a bit. He had to be absolutely miserable. No matter his personal situation, the issue that was happening now had to be dealt with.

I jumped down off the roof and landed beside Sasuke. He didn't even turn to acknowledge me.

"What do you want." he stated.

"Well, I wanted to let you know that Kakashi can no longer train you at the moment." I sighed.

"What?! I had almost mastered chidori!" Sasuke yelled.

He stomped off in a huff to go find his teacher.

"Sasuke, Kakashi is out of the village at the moment. His is on a important mission that takes priority over you. I will be the one to oversee your training at the moment." I called after him.

"You can't teach me!" he shouted angrily.

"And why can't I teach you?" I chuckled.

"You can't even weave hand signs so how are you supposed to teach me?" he growled.

"You already know the hand signs to chidory, am I correct?" I assumed.

"Yes." he mumbled.

"Then I can help you learn to master it." I finished.

"I guess it's my only option unless I want to train on my own." he agreed.

"Fine, are you ready to train now?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Then let us go. You're not scared of heights, right?" I smirked.

Not giving him a chance to answer, I picked him up by the back of his shirt in my jaws. I allowed him to hold onto my slender neck so I wouldn't rip his shirt. As I lifted off, his hands squeezed me a little tighter. I laughed at his reaction, releasing some of the tension in the air.

"I'm flying..." he mumbled.

"Yes, Sasuke. You are indeed flying." I assured.

He continued to mumble about flying and how high we were. I kind of enjoyed seeing the slight shift in his emotion. I flew to the south edge of the fire country in order not to damage anything. I was heading towards the badlands that bordered Suna. It was half in the desert and half in the lush forest. I landed on the desert side. Earth does not allow electricity to travel through it, it's an insulator.

"You can let go now, Sasuke." I said.

"O-Oh, you landed." Sasuke said, clearing his throat as he stepped onto the ground.

It seems as if he wanted to regain some dignity after that display of emotions.

"Should I give you some time to settle down before we begin training?" I chuckled.

"I'm fine." he said, sounding grumpy

"Alright, let's start off with you showing me your chidori so I know where you stand." I instructed.
