Draco x Reader ~ do you hate me?

You sat down in the Ravenclaw common room with a sigh. You had been back at Hogwarts for 2 months now and everything was almost completely rebuild.

The war was hectic seeing that you are dating a death eater... well are... Draco Malfoy has been ignoring you for two months. But maybe that was better... you didn't even want to talk to him to be honest. You heard what happened to Hermione Granger at his manor... a mudblood, that he would ever come back to you was just a dream! How could he possibly still like a filthy mudblood after everything.

'Y/N... what's up? You looked sad.'

You looked up and saw your best friend Luna. She sat down besides you.

'I've given up...'

'On what?'

'On trying to talk to Draco... It best if I just don't talk to him. How pathetic am I to think that he'll ever come back to a filthy mudblood like me.' You sighed.

'Well, he loved you before all of this... then you were also a muggle-born. Nothing changed about that.'

You sighed.

'I know but... a lot has changed during the war. I have changed during the war, he has changed during the war. Our differences might be to big. I mean, he was a death eater-'

'Against his will.' She interrupted you.

That was true..  even though he was proud to be chosen in the beginning.

'His family will never except me and I think that after everything that happened he just hates me.'

'He never hated you for being the person you are! You can't just think this all of a sudden! Even Draco doesn't work like this.'

'Maybe he does! Maybe my dirty blood isn't good enough for his pure blood! Maybe we aren't meant to be... I don't hate him for hating me.'

Luna couldn't really understand. Yes, Draco first had a problem with you being a mudblood, but then that ended when he fell in love with you. Why would he suddenly hate you?

'What changed that makes him hate you? Your blood is the same, you are the same.'

'This whole war changed everything Luna! I'm not the same person, you are dating Neville,  Fred is dead, dobby is dead, Hermione and Ron are together, Ginny and Harry are. You know why all these people are together?! Because they are on the same side... they have a bloodline that almost matches. What if Draco picked up some nasty information, whether it's true or not, about muggles or muggle-born and he now hate me?! What do I do then?!'

'You never know unless you ask him.' Luna responded.

You got up and walked towards one of the windows. You stared outside.

'It isn't that easy... I can't just talk to him.'

'He's your boyfriend! Of course you can. You just go up to him and ask: do you hate me?'

'I can't just ask him if he hates me!'

Luna got up with a furious sigh.

'You're making this way more complicated then you have to! Just talk to the guy! He came back for a reason! He is seriously picked on by people because he choose the dark side! If anything he needs you right now!'
