“Catch you at supper.” I said before he could reply and walked out the door of the common room.

Draco’s POV

“I guess she likes me more than she does you mate.” Nott said with a hearty laugh as he looked at Terence standing in the same spot and staring after Granger, who looked as if she wanted nothing to do with him. For some reason that made something inside me cheer, happy to know that she most likely didn’t fancy Higgs the way he obviously fancied her.

“What gave you that impression?” Higgs said as he seemed to finally snap out of the rejection he just received, and turned around to face the rest of us.

I could see some other Slytherin’s snickering on the side. I looked at Higgs and saw coldness in his eyes I never thought possible for the blood traitor.

“Well she did snog me last night.” Nott said almost gloatingly, making me tighten my hands into balls and clamp down on my jaws.

“She didn’t snog you.” Higgs growled.

“You were there Draco, c’mon mate, tell him that she did.” Nott said looking at me, urging me to tell everyone in the room that Granger indeed snogged him last night.

“Why would either of you touch that filth?” I growled.

“Oh mate, didn’t you just see her?” Nott asked me, his eyes wide. “She’s bloody hell the most seductive thing that walked these chambers.”

I heard people agree around me and saw their eyes glaze over in memory of Granger and how she looked when she stepped out of her staircase.

“Absolutely ravishing.” Higgs said agreeing with Nott.

My own thoughts went to Granger, the Mudblood, and how beautiful she actually was. I remembered when she walked into the common room, my head instantly turning towards her, as well as everyone else’s. Her blond hair contrasting to the shadows and darkness surrounding her. Her sea green hazel eyes and expression showing boredom and superiority. And yet again just as before she had grabbed all of our attentions and commanded the air around her.

Her clothes clung to her like a second skin, showing off her curves and figure. It also surprised me that she wore heals, honestly that must’ve been the first time I’ve ever seen her in heels, besides maybe the Yule Ball, but that was completely different. And since when did the Mudblood where such type of clothing before? When did she get so comfortable with herself? She always seemed to be intimidated  and a little self-conscious, of course her Gryffindor bravery, or stupidity more like it, showing who she really was when it was needed.

“She’s still filth.” I snapped and stood up, not wanting to talk about Granger anymore.

My hangover and excessive drinking from last night didn’t keep me from remembering what happened between her and me. Those weird feelings I felt when I touched her , the way I caught her tears and tucked her hair behind her ear. The way her eyes bore into mine, reminding me that she truly was no longer the Hermione Granger that everyone used to know. This new Hermione was much more dangerous, my dark mark which I didn’t realize was burning at that time, showing just how much she was precarious.

I shook my head to myself clearing my horrendous thoughts and briskly walked out of the Slytherin chambers. I didn’t know where I was going, just that I wanted to get the hell out of here.
